Murphy eventually drifted off on his back on Caden's legs, him sighing and having to scoot over to Rose without waking the dog up.

Rose gently placed a hand on Caden's back, rubbing it afectionately
| |

Caden looked up at Rose, wrapping a arm around her. "I missed you so goddamn much."

Rose cracked a small smile. "I missed you too..." She said quietly
| |

"Anything you want to do or need done?" He asks, opening TikTok.

"I should probably look into doing some volleyball practice..." She muttered, voice trailing off
| |

"Man,speaking of practice...actually,yeah,no.The last game I had two heart attacks....yeah,I think i'm done with football. So much weight to carry and so many scars that'll never go away." He finished with a mumble, still scrolling.

Rose nodded. "I know..." She said quietly, barely a breath. "What you wanna do the rest of our lives after we get married?"
| |

Caden went quiet for a moment, thinking. "Well,I've doomed myself and made me rich, nothing I can do with that.I'm famous, can't do anything about that.I've been missing for three years, can't do anything about that. So,I don't know, maybe have kids, who knows?"

Rose's smile widened a bit when he mentioned kids. "You change your mind, then?"
