"yeah, i am." Sam said, closing his eyes again and inhaling the sweet, flower-perfumed air.

"Well I'm glad you cam because otherwise I'd be sitting here alone and I would be feeling like a bit of an idiot." She noted with a soft chuckle.

"yeah you would be." Sam snickered softly, moving his head a little to the right to look at the horses who were nibbling peacefully on the grass, Nero looking quite happy in his little make-shift rope meadow.

"Well yeah, or I'd be out with Aaron which isn't much fun - he rides but he's not very good at it so it would just be him trying not to fall off." She added thoughtfully, "actually scratch that, it would be quite fun." She said with a small chuckle, almost as though she was talking to herself.

Sam chuckled a tiny bit. "not a good rider, is he? i wouldnt have known, seeing how much time he's with the horses." he said, moving his hand up to shield his eyes as he squinted at the sun, which was slowly beginning to go down,the sky now filled with pinky-yellow tones.

"He loves horses but I think he's a little nervous to ride.

He doesn't really get the chance to ride unless I'm away, then he has a go on Astra." She said lightly with a look of thoughtfulness across her face. "Hey, do ant of your friends ride?" She questioned lightly.

"nope. Will, Jack and Suzie, who youve met before, have never ridden in their lives." he said thoughtfully. "and i dont really have any other friends exept you." he raised his eyebrows just a little.

"I see... It must have been nice having horses be 'your thing' though, right?" She quickly questioned, "and I'm most people's friend so I'm not really sure thatI count." Ellie added with a soft chuckle.

"no it sucks actually." sam said a little bluntly. "never having anybody around who knows and loves what you do, its frustrating sometimes..." he trailed of a little sadly. "but Nero is my friend, and he know horses, well, he is one, so i guess that counts." he said with the hint of a laugh

"If Nero didn't know about horses, I would be slightly concerned!" She said with a small chuckle before using her arms to prop herself up, "You can talk to me about horses any time! I literally stay right next to you, so I'm always around." She said with a light smile.
