Sage hummed lightly and nodded, settling down and closing his eyes happily. "Take your time," he murmured. His own past definitely hadn't been pleasant in that particular area....so he understood being cautious about it. Especially after the birth and all the rest...he certainly didn't want her to go through that again. He was glad they had Silas, but he did wish it had been easier on the girl. He ended up falling asleep rather quickly, having been worried most of the day. He was pretty tired...and besides, he'd been up through the nights rather often, since he could sleep in more than Mari and wanted to let her get a good night's rest in.

Mari drew in a deep breath before letting her eyes flutter shut. She was thankful for sleep... she really was. Her heart had been pumping at about a million miles an hour for the entire day, so she was tired. Silas was already sleeping more... which was nice. She drifted off quietly, her head resting on Sages collar gently and an arm loosely aroun his side. They had the next day off... of course, Sage would have to see to the horses, but they'd said they'd go see her mother... and, she was admittedly very excited to introduce Silas to his grandmother and uncles. She wanted Anthony to like him the most... he was a bit cold, but she knew he'd go to the end for any child she had.

Sage slept for quite a while, before grabbing Silas to feed him. He ended up falling asleep on his back with Silas resting on his chest. That was pretty usual now...Silas liked it there, and Sage admittedly liked Silas curling up there too. He was excited to go see Mari's mother though, and he did hope Anthony would like the child. He was a bit nervous, but he knew Anthony wouldn't be awful about anything...he just wanted what was best for his sister.

Mari slept most of the way thought the night, only waking up briefly when she felt Sage leave the bed before coming back. She rolled away and hugged onto a pillow until later that morning... Silas had been completely asleep the whole time, and it was about nine in the morning by then. She sighed and reached over Sage to grab a bottle for the child, and slipped him off Sages chest and into her lap to let him nurse. She wanted to let Sage sleep a little bit... he certainly seemed like he needed the rest. She knew he wasn't exactly a morning person anyway.

Sage slept for a while, and when he woke up the sun was already up and shining brightly through the windows. He blinked blearily for a moment before rolling over with a slight groan to curl up against Mari. "Morning," he murmured with a yawn. He'd have to get up and go to the barn eventually, but he also knew that they had all day, and it was still early morning. He had plenty of time....so he'd lounge around for a bit longer. Besides, he just didn't want to get up, he was tired.

Mari glanced down at him when she felt him shift next to her. She smiled wryly before reaching down to run a hand through his hair. "Morning handsome," she hummed lightly before looking to the baby, who had started babbling quietly. She smiled softly before hugging the baby into her chest and gently patting his back... they had an hour before they had to do anything. While Sage sorted the horses, she could bring Silas down to help her make a cake... not that he'd be much help, but she wanted to spend some child with the baby, even though he would probably be more than happy to be carried around by his father all day.

Sage chuckled and hummed lightly at Mari's comment. Comments like that always made him feel nice...almost giddy, really. He smiled slightly at the baby's babbles, reaching over to stroke the lad. "Hey buddy," he whispered, which resulted in the baby's happy babble as he turned his head towards him and leaned towards him. He chuckled lightly and pressed a kiss to his head, which was now covered in a fluffy layer of black hair. They lay around for a while longer, because they had the time, before he forced himself to get up and get ready, kissing them both goodbye before heading out to the barns.

Mari smiled slightly at his light kiss and waved him off, though baby Silas tried to grab after him. Mari could only smile and lifted him up on her lap. "Come on baby... we have cakes to make," she hummed lightly, setting him in his cot while she got changed before picking him up again and wandering off towards the kitchen. She set him in a highchair before getting to work on a bunt cake... she'd figured out how to make it now, and Sage liked them... so there was no harm in making another one. She needed to pack a little bag for Silas, too... diapers and bottles and things... so she went to do that while the cake was in the oven before returning to pull it out.

Sage fed all the horses relitively quickly. Maybe an hour and a half or so. He spent another hour with Chaos and Mystery, though it was just to say hello to the two of them. Mystery could have a day off of training...it would be healthy for her, and he didn't have a whole lot of time. Eventually, he wandered back to the room, and when both Mari and the baby were gone, he stuffed an extra diaper in his back pants pocket just in case before heading down to the kitchen. Silas noticed him before Mari did, and he grinned at the baby's happy babble and grabby arms. He scooped the boy up, spinning him around playfully and pressing a kiss to his head before sliding over to Mari and pressing a kiss to her cheek as well. "Watcha up to," he hummed curiously, peering over her shoulder at the cakes. He grabbed one and slid away before she could complain, a slight chuckle coming from him as he did so.

Mari hummed gently when she felt a kiss placed on her cheek and turned to look at him with a bit of a smile. "Cakes," she chirped happily. She'd made a few fairy cakes too, along with the bunt cake... but when Sage took one, she turned to pout at him. "Those aren't for you!" she complained to him before putting the cake, along with all the little cupcakes into a tray and turning to put them in a small basket. She then turned to Sage and wrapped her arms around his shoulder and pecking his lips lightly. "Horses all good?" She asked lightly to the boy before turning away to clear up. "Ready to go?"
