Iris took a picture of the page so she could study it later, then headed for her car. She needed to go to her apartment and tidy up. Reaching her beat up car, she slid into the drivers seat and headed to the north end of town. Her house was about half an hour away from the college. |

Caden went and picked up some essentials for the week, rolling the cart out to his car before loading the bags, putting the cart up before getting in. The familiar hum of the engine filled his ears, music playing low as he drove back to his house. |

Iris spent a good two hours in her apartment, vaccuuming, mopping, dusting, sorting, doing laundy, polishing, and more, all with motivating music in the background. She lost herself in the job, finding it relaxing and exactly what she needed. |

Caden was bored. Like, really bored. Usually he didn't say that since he had plans with Iris, yet being away from her always felt like he was going to go insane. He grabbed his phone, texting her. -wyd- Was all he sent, curious. |

In a good mood, Iris texted back, -You really need to work on spelling out your sentences, Caden. :P I'm cleaning my house. How about you? How's Arizona?- |

-dang ok lol not much, sitting on my couch since all my friend's are busy until the weekend. arizona's about the same, hot, dry, already heard sirens go off about six times XD- Caden tapped out the text, Murphy nudging his hand for attention. |

-Aw, sounds lonely.- Iris replied, taking some books off a shelf and beginning to arrange them in order from tallest to shortest. |

-it kinda is, this guy is my only company right now- He sent a picture of Murphy flopped down on his back, mouth agape--snoring. -to be honest it'd probably be better with you here- |

Iris smiled at the picture. She'd always wanted a pet, but 1, they were too expensive, and 2, she didn't have the time for animals. -Aww! I don't think I knew you had a dog.- |

-huh, must've forgotten to tell you then. his name's Murphy, he's a great dane rescue. while im at college, he stays with a buddy of mine and then he gets dropped off here once i land- Caden yawned, night falling. |
