Sage couldn't help but laugh in response to her comment, finishing the meat and eyeing the vegetables with a slightly wrinkled nose before dumping the meat juices over the lettuce that had been felt on the plate, figuring it might not make it any better but it certainly couldn't get any worse so he may as well try. "The love of my life part does seem like would be a nice thing to find," he mused lightly, teasing her slightly as he started on the salad. Though he gave her a grin when she mentioned fattening him up. "Not too much, won't be able to keep up with all the toddlers running around," he mused lightly.

Sage rolled his eyes and nudged her with a teasing grin. "I meant, it must have been nice for you when we met," he added with a soft snicker, pecking her cheek and shoving the last bit of salad in his face when he heard Liz start to cry upstairs. It was defintiely the tired I'm-going-to-shove-what-i-can-in-my-mouth-at-once-because-my-child-gives-me-no-time-to-eat-a-full-meal sort of vibe, but oh well. He was a somewhat tired parent, so it was somewhat accurate. Either way, he stuffed what he could in his mouth and set his plates int he sink hurridly as he moved to grab his daughter and then settle her before wandering down with her happily.

Sage moved downstairs after a moment or so, with Lizzie in hand, and plopped down next to Celeste once he noticed her on the couch, leaning against her happily. "I'm not sure how to expect me to sleep tonight knowing well be married tomorrow," he mused after a moment, chuckling along with his words. "I'm not sure I can wait that long," he added lightly, messing around but definitely rather serious at the same time. He would probably be riding and turning all night.

Sage curled up happily, glancing down at her in a slightly surprised manner when she spoke up. He pondered in for a second before humming and sighing. "Maybe," he mused. "Maybe it started off that way. But I certainly don't regret it," he murmured. "It doesn't matter whether we get married tomorrow or ten years from now, I'll still love you just as much," he added softly, resting his head on her shoulder lightly.

Sage sort of cocked his head in response to her question, wondering if she was having second thoughts. "I can't wait," he mused with a sort of chuckle. "But if you really think we're going to fast, we can reschedule it," he added quickly, pressing a kiss to the side of her head. "I want you to be happy more than anything." It was true too....sure, he wanted to be happy, but mostly he just wanted to be able to give her a happy family. He wanted Liz to grow up with a wonderful mother. It seemed almost greedy to want anything for himself, but....well, he did want this. Her. Their kids. All of it.
