Malakai Negri - Malakai grinned at Camery's response. Duncan just looked confused. "Oh," he muttered, glancing back at Kais arm where he name and a heart was written. To Duncan that meant that they were together, but he was just a kid. Duncan shrugged it off and turned back to Kai. "When will you be better?" he asked. "Well, I'll feel better soon, but my bones won't heal for a few more months," "Aw," Duncan pouted. Duncan was used to going out on little adventures with Kai, and now that Kai couldn't, well, they couldn't go on their adventures.

Camery Valatieri - Camery smiled at Malakai, then softly at Duncan, knowing she couldn't really explain it to him. The whole situation was just complicated, and the feelings involved were even more so. She looked Kai after a moment, knowing he'd have a fairly long road to recovery. He'd just become king, then all this? The stress of it all would slow healing down too. They had to make it as easy and comfortable as they could. "Well... if you wanted to, me and my bodyguard could take you out once and a while? We can't fly, but we can go on adventures around here," she offered, then looked back to Kai. "If your brother and your mother are okay with it, of course," she hummed softly to him upon seeing his disheartened expression.

Duncan lit up, "Really?!" He squealed excitedly. "Can we go to the alcoves in the mountains?" He asked happily. Kai pursed his lips, "Bud, you know we can only get there by flight," Kai replied, feeling awful that he had to disappoint Duncan. "Oh, aw..." Duncan pouted.

Camery smiled softly after a moment. "Well, maybe not up there... we don't know our way around so well," she started after a moment or two. She pouted in thought, though. "So how about you show us around the area. You know, the woodlands, the lakes and things," she hummed lightly to him. She patted Malakais arm softly. "I'd appreciate, especially since this one is out of action," she chirped.

Duncan grumbled. "Yeah... I guess so..." Duncan very much liked the mountains more than the woods nearby. He'd already explore the woods with Kai when he was younger. "Hey, it's okay, we'll figure something out," he reassured Duncan, and giving Camery and thankful look for offering.

Camery felt her smile disappear when the child grumbled out a response. He was probably really upset about it all. His brother had just gotten back from being away for months, and now he hurt himself like this, he wouldn't really get out for a while. The offer was there if he was really bored, though. "Well, if you want something to do, we're here," she replied gently to the boy, flashing him another small smile.

Duncan grumbled. "Yeah..." Kai gave Camery a look. "It's okay..." Kai whispered to her.

Camery looked over at Kai when he whispered to her, and nodded gently. She was sure someone would take the boy out there if he really wanted to, but she supposed it wouldn't be the same as with his big brother. She gently patted the boys back after a moment, and hummed softly. It was getting late now, and dinner would be ready soon, but of course Malakai would have to stay. "Well, I'm getting hungry... would you like to come with me to the dining hall?" She asked lightly.

Duncan nodded, "Yeah," he agreed, getting up. Kai smiled softly at the two of them, "Have a nice dinner,"

Camery smiled lightly to him after a moment. "I'll see if there's anything worth bringing back to you later," she chirped. She wandered out the door a few paces behind Duncan, though she spotted Orianna walking up the halls. She looked strangely squirrel like. She looked at Camery with Camery, and the girl just flashed a small smile that she normally had across her face. "Malakai is awake, if you're looking for him," Camery murmured simply, not stopping for the woman, since she wasn't her biggest fan. They made it to dinner quickly, and Camery settled down at the table happily.
