(no worries! Take your time lol) Sage grinned and decided to let her blow land, since it wouldn't have been blocked by most demons. She was fast, almost as fast as he and Roxie. "See, you're pretty good at this," he encouraged her as her stepped back and positioned himself to defend again. And while it wasn't as strong of a hit as Roxie or himself could land, he had a feeling she wasn't using brute strength on him, and knew she could hit hard enough to hurt a demon. Besides, they were using spoons. A sharp blade would make up for her lack of strength easily. It was a solid hit...a knife or sword could have taken his head off pretty easily if he didn't try and block it. |

"Really?" she asked breathing somewhat hard "Alright..." she said giving a nod before she backed up again catching her breath before she went at him again closing the distance the same as she had before keeping her eyes locked on his. However instead of going for his neck again she slid underneath him forgetting they were on carpet until she had slid to a stop underneath his legs *Shit...* she thought, she was vulernable down here. |

Sage hadn't expected that and tried to step back but kinda failed at that and ended up landing on his behind in front of Max. He sat there for a second silent before starting to laugh histericaly. That was one way for a match to end, he supposed |

Maxine couldn't help but laugh as well, she was on the floor in a fit of hysterical laughter "That was hilarious!" she laughed "I didn't expect you to fall on your butt like that!" she laughed dropping her spoon and laughing with her hands covering her mouth and nose. |

Sage continued to laugh as he shook his head. "Me either," he wheezed. "But I also didn't expect you to purposely take a dive either!" He laughed for a bit longer as he tried to catch his breath. |

"I was trying to pull of one of those moves like in the movies... you know the one where the dude slides underneath the other and like pops up behind him to knock him down?" she chuckled "I forgot though we're on carpet..." she said as she tried to calm her laughter as she sat up revealing the carpet burns she'd gotten "That'll teach me for sure..." she blushed. |

Sage laughed and shook his head. "It was a good idea," he admitted. "I don't think I've ever actually had someone do that in a fight that I've seen before. Probably because if it doesn't work it'll backfire." He took a deep, calming breath and then grinned. "Lesson two for today ... Its a minor injury so you can heal yourself by pushing a bit of energy out onto the damaged skin. Try it " (There was no where with cell reception or internet anywhere near me but I'm back lol) |

She smirked taking a few deep breaths and wincing as she brushed her fingers on her injured skin she looked up at him and gave a small nod trying to do what he told her only she couldn't seem to pulse the energy like he'd told her "It's not working..." You need to like...uhm ... Open doors of a sort to get it to go where you want it to go. Try and figure out where most of your energy is held and then think of opening your doors. Make it art related or something, it usually is something up your alley to open the doors." He scrunched his face up with a chuckle. "Did any of that even make sense?" |
