I watched as she left, storming out the opposite door and to my study. Saints above. Why the hell did she always do this? Always said the complete opposite of what was happening, and it drove me fucking insane. The door shut behind me, my sword finding my hand as I drove it into the wood of an empty cabinet, the marks layering over old marks. I swung my sword again and again, driving it harder into the wood over, and over, and over. |

I heard footsteps coming down the hall, imediately stopping and sheathing my sword, swiftly pulling the cover back down over the cabinet. "No, what makes you ask?" I questioned, playing along. |
