Adele didn't look up when the door opened, but when she felt familiar, strong arms around her, she opened her red eyes. "Caelan? But- what are you doing here?" She asked, voice hoarse from crying. |

"I needed my princess and it seems she needed me as well" |

Adele nodded, then started crying again, though less strong now. "Caelan..." she said, voice scared. "They want to crown me the day after tomorrow! I can't-- It's--" She paused, trying to breathe. "I'm not ready for that!" |

He pecked her lips and lifted her chin with his finger gently. "Babygirl, it's okay. If you need help, I'll always be here for you. I promise. I know you and I can swear to you, you are definitely ready. You like a challenge" He chuckled softly |

Adele smiled tearfully, feeling better now. "But... Why did you come? I mean, why did you need me? Did something happen?" She sat up, worried now. |
