(We can have them being 24 turning 25 then lol. I was just curious aha) Mari shrugged questingly to him before pouting. "All the time," she repeated to him quietly before shaking her head. "I suppose I do, huh?" She chuckled lightly to him before shaking her head. "I do a lot for you," she hummed. "Like all those massages..." she trailed off, obviously leading up to something. "But I still think you put too much faith in me. For example, your head is resting in my hand right now, and if I just dropped you you'd be in the water," she joked before having him sit up again now that all the soap had been rinsed away.

(alrighty haha. I really had no idea either lol) Sage hummed in agreement to the girl's comments, then he gave the girl a grin as he sat up. "Yeah, but you wouldn't do that," he chirped happily, sticking his face close to hers and grinning widely. "You're too nice to just drop me in the water," he giggled. He shook his hair to dry it slightly and chuckled again. "You'd just splash me if you wanted to do anything like that," he mused lightly. "But if you want me to wash your hair, you'd better turn around," he added with a chuckle.

Mari cocked her head at him after a moment or two. "Are you sure?" She asked, her cheeks turning a shade of pink as his face stuck close to hers, and she wasn't even sure why, really. "I don't know where you got this whole nice thing from, Sage!" She retorted with a bit of a chuckle, though an amused one all the same. She pouted at him. "Just because I haven't killed anyone in a while," she mused teasingly before shaking her head. She'd only ever actually taken the life of one person - and that was purely in self defence, and she knew for a fact that Sage had done a lot worse things in the past. Not that she cared, though. He was kind to her, and that was all she needed. She huffed out a breath when he told her to turn around, rolling her eyes as she slumped down between his legs, turning as instructed.

Sage chuckled lightly and nodded in response to the girls question. "Absolutely positive," he chirped. Then he grinned over at her. "I got it from you spoiling me," he hummed in a rather mischievous tone. Once the girl turned around, he hummed lightly as he reached for the soap, gently rubbing it into the girl's hair and scalp. He did still find it a bit odd that Mari trusted him so much after seeing him threaten and seen him kill plenty of people. Her first impression of him was quite literally a murderous barbarian. But he certainly wasn't complaining about it.

Mari huffed out a heavy breath when she felt his hands in her hair... her whole body seemed to deflate as she let out a soft groan of delight. Don't get it wrong, she loved to spoil him, and she loved being around him, but when she got a bit of attention it did feel... well, wonderful. She guessed it made it more special when it did happen. "I need to stop spoiling you so much... then it'll be all the better when you actually get some love," she hummed quietly to him, her head resting gently back against his chest.

Sage chuckled lightly when he heard the girl's groan and felt her relax against his chest. He did enjoy caring for her, and loving on her a bit. And, well, it was obvious she liked it just as much as he did, if not more. He hummed in fake thought at her comment, though, before reaching over for a bucket to pour water on her head to get the soap out. "I think it's perfect every time you do something," he mused. "So I think you should just keep doing what you're doing," he added with a giggle, really just teasing her. He was done washing her hair soon enough, and just wrapped his arms around her waist happily, resting his head on her shoulder gently.

Mari chuckled at his comment before rolling her eyes. "Every time, huh?" She asked with a bit of a smile, leaning into him a little bit more when she felt his arms around her waist, reaching back to place a hand in his hair, kinda on his nape. She chuckled lightly when she was told to keep on doing what she was doing. Which right now, meant sitting still and just enjoying her time with her husband while she god some love. She gently guided his neck over toward her, leaning back a bit to press a light kiss to his lips. "Hey... do you ever think about when we first met?" She asked curiously to the boy, a bit of a giggle escaping her. "I thought you were insufferable. You still are, I just think I've gotten used to it," she teased him lightly.

Sage hummed lightly and nodded. "Every time," he chirped happily. He smiled softly when he felt her lean into him and let out a quiet sigh when he felt her hand on his nape. Anytime she entwined her fingers in his hair like that, it was nice. He should be used to it, but somehow he still wasn't. He hummed happily when she guided him into the kiss, and kept his face somewhat close to hers as she spoke. He nodded in the affirmitive and chuckled at her later comments. "Sure I do. I still find it crazy to believe I could have scored someone like you," he mused. He grinned over at her, pressing a deeper kiss to her lips. "But you love me being insufferable,"' he giggle lightly.

Mark smiled gently to him, her silly grin only growing as he went on. It was hard to believe that someone like her could do something perfectly every time... and yet, he was sat there telling her it was true. She smiled at his happy little him, her whole body relaxing at the sound... when she said she could listen to him talk all day, that wasn't just talk... it was also every litle noise, breath... everything. She cocked her head at him, kind of half turning to face him, her hand still in his hair and the other on his shoulders lightly. "Someone like me?" She asked curiously, going in to peck his lips to hers. "I'm not sure what that is surprised to mean," she told him with a bit of a huff. "Is it good or bad," she mused. When he pressed a deeper kiss to her lips, a soft hum escaped her as she leaned into him s little bit more. The hand on his shoulder trailed down and gently traced his he branding on his shoulder before sighing. "I do... for some reason," she mused lightly to him.

Sage chuckled lightly at her first comment, eyeing the girl as if thinking about his response. "I'd say that's pretty good," he mused, teasing the girl. Then, in a more serious note, he added, "I was slowly starving to death on the streets while I worked in a tavern, Mari. Didn't exactly think I'd get someone to love, especially not someone so beautiful and amazing." He could go on and on about how amazing the girl was, though he supposed she could tell by his tone of voice that he thought 'amazing' didn't exactly sum up his feelings for the girl. He'd never thought he'd be able to live like this...really, that he'd be able to live at all. But he also never thought anyone could love him becasue of his past and rank...but here mari was tracing the brand that had been carved into his skin in a way that made it just feel like it was just part of him. Another part that she loved. It was completely bewildering to him....but he was very grateful for it all the same, more than he could ever express to her, no matter how much he wished he could.
