Mari shrugged softly before shaking her head. "Whatever you think is best. They'll be excited anyway," she chuckled lightly to him. "I'm sure they'll love to come over - they'll be excited to see us anyway. It's been months," she chucked. She remembered the look on her mothers face when she'd first told her about the pregnancy... she was so excited to see her baby have her own little family. Growing into a wonderful little group. "You can go get them if you'd like... if you go now I can start on dinner," she hummed lightly to him.

Sage hummed lightly in thought and then nodded. "I can go grab them while you start dinner I suppose," he mused. He cocked his head slightly at her. "You sure you're up to starting dinner," he asked, not wanting her to strain herself too much. He chuckled at her other comment though and nodded. "It has been a while, hasn't it," he mused before pecking her head and handing her Silas. "I'll be back soon then," he chirped, heading off to grab chaos and drive off happily.

Mari nodded happily as she took Silas, kind of balancing him on her belly. She waved him off before going to put Silas in his room. She watched him crawl about for a little bit to make sur he was safe before going to sort out dinner... she couldn't do very much, but she was happy to make some pasta or something. She made dinner up quickly and out them on some hot plates before going to get Silas ready for dinner later on. She had a bit of a sit down for a little bit before groaning and getting the dinner table ready, and going to drag it outside so that they were watching over the yard. It was really very sweet. She hoped her family would like to too.

Sage drove chaos down to the house and knocked, and Maris family greeted him happily. He told them that the house was ready and Mari wanted to have everyone over for dinner for her birthday, and everyone was more than happy to get ready to go. Sage nodded and headed back, to make sure Mari was alright and dinner was ready by the time her family arrived.. they'd have to get ready and he didn't want to leave her alone for too long. He hopped over to her once he'd gotten chaos settled in a paddock. "They're on their way," he chirped. "Need any help?"

Mari glanced over her shoulder and flashed a small smile to Sage. "Good," she hummed happily to him. "No, not really. Just some pasta today, and it all done... I've just put the plates in the oven so that the food is gonna stay warm. We're all done other than that!" She chirped as she turned to look over at him. "I've been looking through the papers like you wanted. I have found a proven brood mare if you'd like to have a look... nothing special but what we need," she shrugged lightly. "We can go check it out tomorrow if you'd like," she chirped to him.

Sage nodded happily and wrapped his arms around her, pecking her cheek. "Then why don't we go wait on the porch for everyone," he suggested, unwrapping himself from around her after a moment and taking her hand as they wandered back outside. His eyes light up when she mention that she found a mare they could use....he certainly hadn't expected her to be looking already. "Really," he chirped. "we can do that," he agreed happily. He'd fixed up a few stalls and paddocks....not all of them, not even close, but it was safe enough for up to five horses for now. That gave him plenty of time to repair the rest of the barns and whatnot.

Mari gave a soft smile to him and nodded gently. She was happy to wait for them... they meant an awful lot to her, so she was happy to wait. To see them arrive would be nice. She smiled at the happiness on his face, though. It was nice to see. And it was nice that he was so excited and genuine about all of this. "I know it's a bit soon, but it would be nice to go and have a look at least. Get this started up as soon as we can," she added lightly as she stood up and started to waddle towards the porch.

Sage hummed lightly in agreement and wandered over to the porch next to Mari happily. "it would be nice to get something started as soon as possible," he mused. It took time to grow a foal...so the starting process would be slow, but it would be good once they got it up and running. He did hope it worked out...it would be a great way to provide for the family, and it was something he enjoyed too. And Silas seemed to like the horses too, which was definitely cute and nice to see. He sat down in the chair next to her once she'd gotten herself settled and he'd made sure she was alright. He was excited to have everyone over....it had been a while since they'd seen them after all.

Mari hummed in agreement before shrugging. "I suppose. You don't have to start anything yet you know, though. We just moved in. We can get comfortable first if you'd like," she chucked softly to him as she went to wrap her arms around his side. Soon enough, though, she could hear the happy laughs of Xander, and went to peck Sages cheek happily. "I'm going to grab Silas. Greet everyone for me," she asked him lightly before going to grab the child from his room. He loved it there... it was warm and comfortable, it was wonderful, really... she was just more than pleased to see her kids would have a room to their selves.

Sage hummed lightly and nodded. "I know," he chirped. "that'll take a while to get started so we can afford to relax a bit," he chirped, wrapping an arm around her and leaning in when she curled up. He nodded happily when she said she'd grab Silas, and he greeted Xander happily, and by the time the rest of the family got there, he'd already put Xander up on his shoulders the way the boy liked. "She's grabbing Silas and meeting us out on the back porch," he informed the rest of them. "we have a table big enough for everyone out there," he chirped, ducking as he went through the door so as not to run Xander into the top of the frame before bouncing over to Mari happily.
