Wesley noticed he was looking at Ella like she was decapitated, so he cleared the look of worry from his face... a little. "I'm fine, but what's wrong?" He asked slowly, his eyes showing clear concern for the situation. "I could give you something to do, but I don't think that will help your problem." Wesley answered quietly, sitting back down in the hay to continue feeding the now very unhappy calf. "I know this is all new and such, and I now you just met me... but I might be able to help with whatever is bugging you." He offered, glancing at her again,

Ella was slightly taken aback at Wesley's comments. Of all the people she had met, he was the last erson she expected to even pick up on her being upset. She fiddled with her hair and stared down at the ground, kicking a small stone from under her feet. "It's nothing, really. Just the..man from the accident, he's still messaging me. I'm sure i'm overreacting" She forced a smile as she spoke, looking down at the calf. "Thank you, though."

Ella had relaxed a lot since she first came here, and it hadnt even been two days. Whether it was Elizabeth and her families hospitality, the gorgeous horses, the scenery or Wesley helping her, se was grateful for it.

Wesley saw the surprised look on Ella's face, which made him wince slightly. For those who really knew him... as in his closest friends... he was a very caring guy. Then there was that hard, deflective shell on top of the inside that just shot a joke at anyone who asked. When Ella actually said why she was upset, Wesley was stunned for two reasons. 1) That she would EVER tell him anything. 2)... "That- what- him- still- HE'S STILL MESSAGING YOU?" Wesley sputtered, stumbling to a halt before seeming as if to reboot his brain and get into a calmer mindset. Now... if you wanted to thouroughly upset ANY man on the whole entire ranch, just assault a girl. Every single cowboy here would squash anyone that even tried to get close to a girl in a bad way. That was pretty much the only thing that actually made them mad, Wesley the most. Aaaand most people that did that ended up NEVER doing it again, or ended up disappearing. Ya know why they never did it again? Something about a very angry looking person with blazing guns and a couple knives in their belt scared the other person off. Once Wesley was completed with his mental meltdown, he took in a slow breath. "So- you are saying... the person from the... accident... is still... texing you?" He asked. It sounded like he had to force every word

Ella shifted anxiously from foot to foot as he questioned it, half thinking he didn't actually believe her. She had never told anyone at ALL about this kind-of-stalker, let alone a guy she had just met hours away from her home city. She usually justkept herself to herself, especially with things like this. But not this time. And the weirdest part? She didnt feel half as awkward as she would have talking to any of her friends back home. She nodded tentatively at his question. "I was never really sure if it was him when the number first started messaging me, but then he started going on about rhe accident and I knew. And then some...other stuff. Now just trying to scare me." She pretty much blurted it out, keeping her voice to the quiestest tone possible. "Its fine though. At least he cant do anything, now im here." She added, trying her best to hold back tears.

Wesley looked (still) shocked, running a hand through his dark brown hair before blowing out a breath of air. "That- that- that..." he stopped, knowing he wasn't getting anywhere. "But- but- but-" Now Wesley sounded like a motorboat. He halted again with his words, mentally kicking his brain into gear. Again. "Wull that's terrible. could I really quickly see the messages? For just one second? I won't even read them I just need to check something else." Wesley asked tenatively, his eyes almost pleading with Ella. If he could just get into the number that was texting her, they would be sorry they ever even thought of harrassing her.

Ella noddedand glanced up at the house, biting her lip. "I'll get my phone." She said, trying her best to ignore the fact Wesley was stammering so much. She never thought of this as a big deal to other people, just her. If she ever explained the situation to someone back home she would be laughed at. Thoroughly. She smiled at him before heading back to her room, her heart racing. Some of the messages he sent were rather..sexual. And completely unasked for. He had acted weird enough the day he was practically on top of her with the knife to her cheek, the texts he sent after the ordeal? Arguably worse. It had completely ruined her perception of men. And the worst part? It was all because her horse spooked. She stood there and scrolled through the various "miss me? i love your body..i see you..." And she felt sick at the sight of a rather detailed message, along the lines of "I've polished the knife, ready to strike again.

Ella shivered slightly, but shook it off, and headed back outside, handing the unlocked phone to Wesley. "There." She said, rubbing both her eyes to stop them becoming glassy with tears.

Wesley nodded and watched Ella walk away. He took that time to hurry the calf back to its stall, since it was done eating. Wesley went back and saw Ella was there, taking the phone. He didn't even glance at the exts but went straight to the number, scribbling it down quickly and handing her phone back. "I have to go do something real quick, you can come if you'd like." he said quietly, going off towards the barn. Wesley went to the very back and brushed off some hay, pulling up a trap door. He just left it open and jogged inside, going down the stairs quickly. Inside was a dark room, but when he flicked on the lights it illuminated something you probably would never find on a ranch. An actually computer (wow) with a couple hard drvies and some weird looking equipment. Wesley flicked on a couple switches and the computer started whirring up. There was a pile of blankets in the corner, a couple saddles on a rack, and along a whole wall.. tons of guns, knives, daggers, sheaths, spears, and anything else you could think of like that. Wesley ignored that stuff and sat down at a chair once the computer had booted up, typing in something quickly. He entered the phone number into a special looking app, wrote down some numbers, and turned the computer off again.

Ella followed Wesley as he offered for her to come, her heart practically in her mouth. What if he knew the guy? What if he was on his side? What if..he was gonna do the same thing? No, she couldnt think like that. He would never, right? She had to hurry to keep up with him as they headed towards what looked like a trapdoor, and, as the door was opened and they had gone down the stairs, Ella's eyes widened. Guns..knives..possibly every weapon she could think of. She stopped just short of the bottom stair and lt her eyes dart around the room, eventually landing on Wesley, who was busy at the computer. "What..what?" Was all she managed to get out her mouth, her gaze now fixed firmly on the knives.

Wesley looked at Ella then realized she was staring at al the knives. "Whoops-" he stopped with a sheepish look. "Sorry 'bout that. You never know what you'll see on a ranch... we get a lot of people that try to kill and steal out cattle." He attempted to explain, going back up the steps. Wesley took in a slow breath as he got to the top, holding the door for Ella. (Sorry a little short, gotta go count haybales haha)

Ella nodded, her eyes so fixated on the knives by the wall that she ended up nearly tripping over the first stair. She raked a hand through the ends of her hair rather roughly and shielded her eyes from the sun as she got to the top stair. "I mean it makes sense. The..spears. And stuff. Theres a lot." She was struggling to speak, out of pure nerves, and felt herself wince inside as her words failed. Trying her best to redeem herself, she sighed and smiled weakly. "What did you exactly..do with the number?" She was anxious, her previous thoughts flashing through her mind.
