Chrisitne looked from Adelle to Keefe and back again. Keefe didnt look happy, maybe Adelle did something in his past that hurt him. Christine felt a tad bit hurt when Adelle said they were dating, though she didnt know whether to believe her or not. She had grown "attached" to Keefe's presence. She looked towards Adelle and noticed she was wearing heavy makeup. Using her foot she began splashing a puddle and "accidently" went to big causing water to splash over Adelle's face. Her make up was ruined. Christine tried hard to not laugh but let a small smile out. Who was this Adelle person. She would ask Keefe later,it was now time to make sure the men were gone and Keefe not hurt by them.

"are you alright keefe?"

Adelle stuck her nose in the air. "Keefe has always been a liar. You can't expect much more from rich pricks-" She stopped midsentence as muddy water splashed her face. Sputtering, eyes wide, she shrieked. "How dare you! You poor dirt rag girl! AGH!" She screeched, rushing away. Keefe winced. "Sorry about that- and what she said isn't true." He mumbled quietly, although a slight hint of a smile curled at the corner of his mouth. "Good going though." He added, then glanced at the window. No angry men had come storming out. At her question he glanced back at Christine. "Me?" he sounded almost conused for a second- no one had EVER asked him if he was alright. "Yeah, I'm fine, what about you? What even happened?" he asked with concern- he hadn't seen everything.

Christine finally let out the laugh that was suffocating her. "that adelle person's funny". She paused for a minute to catch her breathe and find the best way to answer his question. "last night I was going for a stroll and I was picking my way through trying to find my usual spot by the river when I came across this bunch, they tried to grab me but i had pepper spray so sprayed them. People on the streets are always after revenge". She looked around a bit embarrassed. "how am I ever supposed to live here now when these guys are about". She sighed and realised what she said, "oops". She hadnt told Keefe where she lived yet and now he knew. The first time they had seen eachother her Aunt made her promise to tell Keefe they were rich, so now what could she say.

Keefe smiled faintly. "Yeaahhh. She is something else." He answered slowly, lifting an eyebrow as she explained what happened. "That's horrible. Those stupid morons. I wish I would've hurt them more than I did." He mumbled the last part, irritated looking, but it cleared up quickly. "I don't know for sure, but the bottom line answer is, you can't. You need somewhere else to stay." Keefe answered stoutly, glancing around at the shadowed streets. He glanced up with a slight tilt of his head as she said oops. Ohhh. She lived around here. He paid it no mind. "Where do you want to stay?"

She looked at him puzzled. Most people turned at ran when she told them she lived here. She smiled feeling at Keefe. He was different to others, in a good way.

"uhhhhhhh. ummmmm.... well maybe theres a hotel in town?" She looked around checking her Aunt hadn't heard the commotion. "sooo.. tell me more abouts this Adelle girl. She's pretty. Do you like her?" By the way Keefe talked to Adelle she didnt think so but eh didnt hurt to ask.

Keefe tilted his head slightly in thought. "Good idea. Theres nice enough ones far away from here, away from those men." He answered, crossing his arms with a slight wince- though it was more like he was cradling his arms. After question his shoulders sagged slightly. "Uhm.. well, I knew her all through high-school and even a little before that. Just because she's pretty doesn't mean she has a pretty temperment." He snorted. "She was one of the weird people that thought I was handsome blah blah blah. She wanted my money. Or my father's money. Whatever. She wanted to be my girlfriend but, well, slight secret, she totally traumatized me and I was terrified of girls after just a month with her. Buuuut she kept pushing, and pushing, and do super weird and not cool things, and so we come to this day. She manages to resent me and pretend to like me at the same time. It's creepy and weird." He shuddered slightly. "And I hate her. To me she is scaaaary." He ducked his head slightly. "Great, so now you know a weird secret of mine." Keefe laughed nervously, his eyes flicking around.

Christine smiled, "tell me about it, girls are so sassy and weird, including me, sometimes" she giggled. She thought of Bridget and how "money hungry" she is. "I know someone who, all they want is money, pretty painful to be around..." She glanced at the ground and slowly added, "..we all have strange secrets sometimes". She slowly strolled towards the town following Keefe. She squinted her eyes and looked towards the sky, the beautiful blue sky seemed to roll with the wind. It was a beautiful day not a cloud in the sky. Finding a hotel she payed for her room then turned to Keefe, "thankyou again for helping me, i feared it would have been a different outcome if you didnt come to help".

Keefe let out a small laugh. "Well you haven't been all that bad with me." He answered, creasing his eyebrows slightly at her words. He had a pretty solid guess on who this was, but he didn't comment. "Ah, I'm glad I'm not the only one." He commented with a small snort, heading more towards the middle of the town. As they got closer to the hotel he stopped, hesitating for a moment. "I'm 99 percent sure you won't let me pay you for the room you just paid, but it can't hurt asking. Can I pay for the room? At least my father's money will do SOME good." He asked with a small tilt of his head, nodding slightly. "You're welcome." He answered quietly, his gaze flitting to the ground.

Keefe sighed. "Knew you'd say that. Aren't I smart. Well, have a good night." He nodded a curt goodbye before leaving the hotel and stuffing his hands in his pockets. He totally just wanted to stay out the entire day but he looked like a hobo. His hair messed up, eyes glazed over with drowsiness from sleep deprivation, dark shadows under his eyes, crumpled shirt, and to top it all off the pants he wore to bed. Plus he had blood on his hands, mostly his knuckles but also his arms- his newest wounds had reopened in the fight. He hunched his shoulders slightly and tried not to draw attention to himself as he started the walk back home. Getting there, he grabbed the tree and hauled himself up, slipping in his window and breathing a sigh of relief when his father wasn't in there. Keefe messily styled his hair the way he liked it, then pulled on black bootcut jeans and a black t-shirt with a picture of Superman on it that read *I'm superman, so I could be your hero anyday*. It just seemed fitting, pluuuuss he felt like a black shirt right now. Maybe he could cover it up with a leather jacket. He wanted to not be noticed. He hopped out the window again, clambering down the tree before jogging to the slightly hidden spot in the woods and stretching his back, hearing a quiet pop as he winced. He started towards his shed, entering and proceeding to sharpen his collection of knives, daggers, and other weapons.
