She hesitated briefly, before dialing the vet's number. "Hi, is Doctor Ramirez in?" She asked, as the vet's assistant/secretary picked up. "Yes, I'd like to schedule a last-minute appointment." |

The AC kicked on, humming softly as the sunset's rays danced in the room, covering both Marco and Liliana in a golden hour light. |
