Mari hummed gently to the boy, tilting her head up a little to peck his chin with a heavy breath. God, why was she so tired? Was that normal? Yes, yes it was. Now it was, anyway. She moved to gently rest her head back against him. Her hand rested on her stomach, gently moving back and fourth in a circle. She moved to take a hold of Sages hand, resting it on her stomach in the same way, in a spot where you could feel where the baby was moving around. They wouldn't have long now... until they would finally be able to hold him or her. She was so excited... to finally have a small addition to their little family.

Sage hummed happily when he felt her little peck, and then rested his chin gently on her head when she put it back down. He felt a smile drift onto his face when she moved his hand to press it against her stomach. He patted it gently, definitely more than ready for the little one to come out of Maris body. Partly because he wanted to meet it and hold it and see it's little face, and also because he wanted to be able to actually cuddle and whatnot with his wife. That was nice too. He soon stilled though, more than content to lay around for a while. Eventually though, once he woke up a bit, he sighed and rolled into his back to stretch and then look over at Mari for a moment before making a move to get up. "I'll go make breakfast....I feel fine, you get a lazy morning today," he told her, wandering out to the kitchen. He was hungry anyway, and he felt fine.

Mari nodded softly at his comment, and moved to sit up a little bit. She hummed gently to the boy before sighing. She supposed she could relax for a bit... she wouldn't mind. Just for the once. And it wasn't like Sage was giving much of a choice to get up, though. "If I must," she mused lightly to the boy. She didn't know what he was trying to make, but all the same she was happy to eat whatever he made. And staying in bed for s little bit did sound wonderful.

Sage chuckled lightly at her comment and wandered down to the kitchen, and reached for the fridge to just....stare at the food. Well. He had to decide what he wanted now. He probably should have figured out what he was going to make before now, but he just wasn't sure what he wanted. Or what Mari wanted. He huffed out a breath of air before deceding to just cut up some various fruits and put them in a bowl to snack on. That sounded nice, and Mari had liked all the fruit so far, so he figured it was rather safe. So, he cut up a bunch of stuff and then popped a piece in his mouth as he wandered back over to flop down next to mari again.

Mari rested her eyes for a short while before deciding she couldn't just sit there... so filled her time with reading a small baby book that she'd had while pregnant with Silas. To refresh herself, she supposed. She looked over at Sage, though, when she saw him walk in. She smiled happily and patted the bed. "Whatcha got?" She asked with a happy sounding hum. She was happy that he'd let her rest a bit... it had been so long since she'd been able to just... sit for a little while. Her feet hurt, her head hurt, and her stomach was aching too... so being able to sit somewhere comfortable was of course wonderful.

Sage hummed and looked in the bowl of fruit. "Let's see....apples, pears, strawberries, and blueberries," he listed off as he poked around in the bowl. "Fruit seemed like the easiest option for both of us," he admitted with a chuckle. It seemed safe....she liked it still, and he still wasn't eating much so this would last a while without going bad or wasting or anything. "And water," he added, holding up a cup and shaking it slightly, though not enough to spill it.

Mari smiled gently at the boy after a moment when he sat down next to her, and went to peck his cheek happily. "Perfect!" She chirped happily to the boy. "I've been wanting pears recently anyway," she snickered lightly. Fruit was a nice breakfast... she couldn't eat a lot of food anyway, not for the moment at least. "Still alright?" She asked with a bit of a cocked head, reaching over to grab a piece of pear. She then rested a hand on his chest with a cocked head. "Not feeling any worse or anything?" She really was worried. She didn't want him to feel awful... it really scared her that something could go wrong again. She didn't want that to happen.

Sage chuckled lightly and grinned over at her as he crawled back up and onto the bed to curl up next to her. "Good," he mused lightly. Fruit did sound rather delicious, he supposed. He'd mostly just eaten crackers of dome kind the past few days, so something juicy did sound good. He hummed lightly and nodded in response to her questions. "Don't worry," he hummed. "I'm fine," he reassured her, pecking her forehead lightly.

Mari sighed softly to the boy and gave a gentle smile. He knew she just wanted him to be okay... but she also just didn't want to burden him with being so fussy over him. "Promise," she murmured softly. Sage had this habit where he waited until things were really bad to tell her what was wrong... she didn't want him to do that now. She buried her nose into his neck for a moment, a soft sigh escaping her as she breathed his scent in. It was such a comforting scent... one she'd come to much love over the last face years.

Sage chuckled lightly and nodded, allowing the girl to bury into him when she made the move towards him. He chuckled lightly again when he heard her little noise, reaching over to give her a hug with his free arm. "Promise," he hummed. "I'm still a little tired, but other than that I feel fine," he assured her, setting the bowl of fruit down inbetween them and releasig the girl. "I might feel worse if you don't let me eat though," he teased her lightly, pressing a quick kiss to the side of her head lightly.
