Sage stayed there, limp, I til he could regain enough blood to force himself awake with a groan. He always hated waking up the morning after a morph...he'd be terribly sore for a while, and his head was still pounding, and he generally just....felt like shit. Though, his breathing and pulse had steadied out a bit, which was good. He blinked a few times as he figured out where he was at....which was still in the girls lap. Whoops. He felt a light blush settle on his face, but she was still absentmindedly rubbing his neck, which admittedly felt nice. He wasn't really able to move without a crap ton of pain yet though ...so he doubted he'd move even if he wanted to. He did realize she was probably covered in blood...his blood, and that brought a slight wince to his face, promoting to attempt to get up, but when he nearly passed out again, he collapsed back into her with a groan. "Sorry," he sort of mumbled, quieting until he could function again. Well... function as much as possible, given the condition he was currently in. "If you go into a room and get a syringe and fill it halfway full with morphine I'll be able to get off your lap in a few minutes, since you probably want me off of you by now," he added tiredly. "I'm sure you have questions," he added, peering up at her. He could answer a few of those, he supposed.

Florida had fallep into a light sleep thought her fingser still moved. Her forehead rested against the wall beside the two of them. Florida jerked awake when he tried to stand "just stay down. Ill get it" she gently shiied from under him and grabbed the medicing he said to get. she brought it over to him. "now what?" she most definitely had questions, but he was too weak for now

Sage sort of chuckled slightly but obeyed her command to stay down. He wasn't in much shape to do otherwise. He took the medicine when she gave it to him, able to get the shot into his arm and let it take effect. "Now, we get to a room where we can both go to sleep," he noted with a chuckle. "maybe...maybe change into clean clothes first...there's a closet with clothes for homeless peoole that come through...there's something that should fit you in it," he said, pointing to the closet by them. "Just toss me a set of scrubs from the closet next to it," he added. "Mediums are fine." She'd done that quickly, and soon enough they had both changed and then collapsed onto a bed....there was a room with two there so that's where they'd gone. "you get two questions before I pass out," he noted with a yawn .

Florida winced when he jabbed the needle in his arm. She got up and grabbed a nice looking shirt and some shorts, She went to the bathroom and peeled her clothes off, tossing them in a pile and scrubbing her arms and legs off in the sink. She pulled the new clothes on. The shirt was tighter than she thought and she knew the shorts would be short, but not that short. Flo wandered back out, reluctantly tossing her clothes in the trash. "How long has this gone on, and how... just... purely how?" she asked, her mind working again to try to figure out what had just happened and process everything.

Sage had known she'd have questions, but he also hadn't exactly planned for this to happen so close to getting to know her. He still wasn't sure if he could completely trust her. He felt like he could, though. But he owed it to her to answer her questions now, and he had to admit he didn't mind telling someone about all of it. "My whole life," he said simply. Then he shrugged. "My mom was a werewolf. My dad's human. I got the lovely genetics that make me half werewolf, meaning I can only transform that much, and my human genes fight the transformation. Which makes it what you just saw," he sighed, shaking his head. "Every full moon, it lasts the night," he added quietly. "I'll be nasty sore for a while." It was rather pathetic he thought, but he really did appreciate her staying with him. He was silent for a moment before he looked over at her. "thanks," he added. "it's....easier when I'm not alone in the forest somewhere, worried about bounty hunters or animals or..." He sort of trailed off with a shrug, dropping his gaze. He wasn't sure why he was embarrassed...maybe it was just his sucky life and family. But he felt his cheeks flushing anyway.

Florida sat there and gave a slight nod, taking in every word. She felt bad for him, having to suffer through that pain every month. She looked down then back up at him. "Thats so terrible" she said quietly, finally able to speak. "This shouldn't have to happen to anyone... and it isn't even your fault. You shouldn't have to suffer for your parents mistakes... erm well not mistakes, but you know what I mean." She shook her head. "I bet its terrible when you're alone, but I bet its even worse when someone like me who used to bully you comes around and witnesses something like that. Not going to lie, but that was honestly traumatizing..." Florida sighed. "I know it probably means nothing to you, but I'm sorry for everything i had said. I truely am. And I'm sorry that you have to go through this"

Sage sort of just blinked over at her calmly, shrugging in response to her comments about his parents. "Dad didn't know Mom was a wolf. Least, not for a while. He killed her once he found out," he murmured. "He only kept me around because I could work while he got drunk and sat on his ass all day," he snorted. Though, at her apology he sort of chuckled and shook his head. "You already apologized," he noted. "And besides, you barely did anything. You should see or hear what others have done," he noted, trying joke about his own trauma again. And probably failing since he was now pretty much half asleep. "you helped. You really did," he added, eyes sort of drifting shut as he fell asleep. He'd answered everything he could for the time being, but he really was just exhausted.

Florida stared at Sage with a blank expression on her face. She laid back on her bed, her eyes staring at the ceiling as pieces clicked together. He was alone, poor which she knew because of how skinny he was and his lack of funds for school lunch, bullied far worse than she had ever done, and walking around with the knowledge that his mother had been killed by his father. She shook her head. it truely was terrible, but she knew from experience that guys didn't like anyone pitying them. She had to force him to take it easy especially since he had said he was going to be sore. Yes, he was a new acquaintance, but she didn't want him to push himself too hard.

Sage had slept deeply for a while, his body just exhausted beyond all reason, as you'd expect after something like that. He'd lost a lot of blood, too, which really didn't help matters. He'd feel better tomorrow....well, in some ways. The soreness was always worse the next day, as were any injuries he'd gotten from hitting things or running into things while morphing. Florida had protected him from a lot of that.... especially since his head was in her lap the whole time, as far as he knew. He woke up soon enough though, early in the morning as the morphine wore off and he just...hurt. He woke with a soft groan, but didn't want to wake the girl, so he forced himself up, getting his teeth together as he moved. It was almost worse than the morphing itself....almost. But he really, really had to use the bathroom now, so he did his best to move. It took forever to even get to his feet, let alone to the door, but he figured she was tired and he shouldn't wake her. And, well, asking her to help him to the bathroom wasn't really something they were close enough for.

Florida laid in the bed for hours, her brain spinning from all of the new information. After a while she had drifted into sleep. She never heard Sage move during the night, so her brain worked overtime which seemed to scare her dreams away. Flo rolled over and opened her eyes expecting to see Sage laying there, but instead he was gone. +He left? There's no way+ She sat up, forcing her sleepy eyes to widen as she scanned the room. "Sage?" She didnt want him to be stuck somewhere so she stood and waited a minute for an answer
