Sage grunted slight and shrugged. "A little bit," he hummed. Not long, but he had slept in a bit. But he'd gotten up to get dinner ready for everyone...Silas had been hungry, and he wanted to let Mari sleep. She needed to heal up. He hummed happily when she moved to kiss him though and groaned at her comments after, though still leaning into her touch slightly. "The only thing excersizing my brain is waiting for you to get better so you can follow up on that jump you promised," he teased her lightly, a cheeky grin overtaking his grumble as he spoke.

Mari smiled softly when she felt his head lean into her hand, and gently ran a thumb along his cheek. "Well then you can sleep in more I guess. I suppose it would help you heal a little bit more too," she hummed quietly. She did want him to get better... he was sick even if he wasn't admitting it. Though, at his next comment her cheeks started to heat up a little. "Well, maybe that'll happen as soon as you stop coughing and spluttering everywhere," she teased him softly. She pecked the side of his head again before kind of melting back down into his lap with a soft sigh.

He hummed lightly with a sort of shrug in response to her first comment. "I'll sleep in if I don't have to do anything else," he said simply, really just enjoying sitting with her and relaxing for a bit. Just talking, and watching the kids. Nothing much was happening. It was certainly nice. He grinned wider when he noticed her cheeks turn a slightly darker shade of pink at his comment. Thought, he rolled his eyes at her response and snorted. "Well, maybe you need to kiss me all better," he teased her lightly, sort of just relaxing into her when she relaxed into him, just really very happy to sit with her. Soon enough though, the kids were begging for dinner, so they moved back into the house to get some food.

Mari smiled happily to him after a moment or two before shrugging. "Well, whatever is best for you. If you need a bit longer to sleep, let me know and I can sort the mornings out for you," she promised him before going to press a light kiss to his cheek. She grinned at his next comment before shrugging."I kiss you all better all the time," she murmured softly, pecking his lips before getting up to help him make dinner for the kids.

Sage chuckled slightly and nodded. "Alright, if you feel up for it," he said, then reconsidered and grunted. ""We can switch off days of waking up," he suggested. "If you let me sleep in tomorrow, I'll get up the next day," he hummed. He chuckled lightly when she said she kissed him better and shrugged. "Yeah, but saying that got me an extra kiss," he hummed rather cheekily as he followed her inside, getting the kids cleaned off while Mari got dinner on.

The girl looked at him curiously before shaking her head with a small smile. "Babe you know I'll sort things out for you, you don't have to bribe me by doing the same," she chuckled lightly to him. She followed him into the kitchen, grabbing some plates and bowls out so that they could make up something quickly and easily. "You have a never ending amouny of kisses, you know that," she chirped to him and pecked his cheek happily before going to grab some of the things she'd picked up in the shops that day. "I know you're cold so I bought you more blankets... hopefully they'll aid your getting better," she told him gently.

He chuckled lightly at her comment and shrugged. "Yeah, but then I feel bad sleeping while you work," he mused lightly. He scooped Silas up when the boy came running, spinning him around a bit before plopping him in his chair and then helping Lizzie into her chair as well. He chuckled lightly at her comment and hummed as if in thought. "maybe, but that doesn't mean each one isn't nice," he teased lightly, grinning to himself when he figured he'd just gotten himself another kiss from the girl, which he was admit rather pleased about. He nodded happily when she mentioned more blankets, chuckling slightly. "Good," he hummed. "We'll be nice and cozy on Christmas." It was coming up rather soon...within the next two weeks or so. And he was excited.

Mari rolled her eyes. "Don't. You work plenty hard too," she promised him lightly as she put a plate infront of each of the kids happily. She then went to wrap an arm orotund his waist with a small smile. "Then I can die knowing that you've loved every single one of my kisses," she chirped to the boy. She started to wash up after a moment or two. "Hmm... yeah. We can put a fire on and curl up under a blanket while the kids rip open whatever we get together," she mused lightly.

Sage chuckled lightly and nodded in response to her comment, though he knew he'd probably try to get up here and there to help out. She could use sleep too....she was healing, and probably had more to heal than he did. At least in terms of physical healing anyway. He chuckled lightly at her next comment too, nodding slightly. "You can be assured I have indeed," he hummed happily. "That sounds lovely," he cooed happily. He still had to get her a present he realized....he'd thought she was dead when he was working at getting presents, and then he couldn't really afford to get anything else than one toy each. And that was pushing it. But now they could afford more ....and he could get something for her too. Hopefully, the art would cover that at least.

The girl gave him a happy smile of agreement... she was happy to be back here, and happy now that she was well enough, that she could start thinking about Christmas. They soon cleared up and got to sleep, the next few weeks coming and going very quickly. Christmas was only a day or so away, and so far things were going well. They were making a bit more money now that Sages art was taking off. They had some heating on, and the hot water and the fire was always burning so they were never cold... so things seemed to be going really well.
