Sage hummed lightly and chuckled in response to her comment. "Yeah, it's just normally not good imagination," he snorted. Then he rolled his eyes at her other comment and chuckled. "Oh please. You get plenty of special treatment she doesn't get," he mused lightly, digging into his plate happily when she handed him the food. Dinner was somewhat quiet, both of them just eating happily. After, he sort of just moved Mari back into the living room so he could give her the presents he had planned.

Mari hummed lightly at him and pecked his cheek. "Well, you've been pretty good imagination wise recently. No freak outs or anything," she chirped to him happily. She pouted at him soon though. "You don't apologise to me when you wake me up!" She mused to him before joining him at the table happily. The food was alright. She'd worked hard on it, and she was excited for Silas to try in later on... which was nice. Though, when she was taken over to the living room, she hummed lightly and perched on the couch curiously.

Sage hummed lightly and shrugged in response to her comment, bobbing his head up and down. "I suppose so," he hummed. Then he chuckled lightly and grinned. "Silas wakes you up all the time, and he doesn't apologize either," he chuckled, though he of course knew shed rather be woken and help him than leave him alone. Soon enough though, he had gathered up all her presents and dumped them onto her lap with a grin. There was a whole slew of things...the drawing book, jewelry, and some other bits and all the rest. He settled next to her happily then, after that, certainly just glad to spoil her a bit.

Mari huffed at him after a moment or two before shaking her head. "But Silas is my baby, he doesn't need to apologise. You, however, when you wake me up by rolling into me, should apologise," she mused to him with a bit of a laugh. She eyed him a little bit when he started to pile stuff up on her lap, and furrowed her brows. "Sage I barely got you anything," she complained to him with a small laugh. She pressed a light kiss to his cheek, though, and started to unwrap everything, a happy little noise escaping her every now and then. She slipped whatever jewelry he gave her on, and set everything else to the side before moving to peck his lips excitedly.

Sage chuckled lightly and gave her a grin. "You call me babe," he pointed out, really just teasing ehr a bit. When she complained she hadn't gotten him much, he chuckled lightly and hummed. "Well I wanted to spoil you a bit," he mused lightly. "Besides, i made a decent amount of it, so you get a combination of stuff that was bought and stuff that's just from here," he pointed out. It just let him give her more stuff that way, which he certainly wasn't upset about. His favorite was the little picture book though...especially since she'd missed some of the more recent ones, like Lizzie's first word. It sort of just entailed everything...and he'd add to it, of course. Admittedly, that one was sort of for the family, but right now, she'd enjoy it most. He grinned over at her happily when she crawled over all the wrapping paper and bags he was holding to kiss him. "Merry Christmas, babe," he chirped happily

Mari rolled her eyes at him a little before shrugging. "You're a baby too sometimes," she mused to him. When he explained why he'd gotten all of this, she smiled and and pecked his cheek again. "Well it's all wonderful. Thank you," she hummed to him happily. She did feel a bit bad she hadn't gotten him as much... but he didn't seem too upset about any of it, so she was glad enough. "As long as you're fine with it, I suppose," she hummed gently to the boy. The book was sweet, too... it was all wonderful, really, it all seemed wonderful. "Merry Christmas," she chirped in response, soon enough going to help clear up a little.

Sage chuckled lightly and sort of just shrugged in agreement to her first comment before humming happily and giving her a happy grin. Soon enough, they'd managed to clean everything up and he flopped back onto the couch with a sort of huff. It was getting a bit later by then...maybe around 7 or so. But it had been a good day...the kids had been so happy, and he'd gotten to spoil them, and then had a great dinner and dessert, and then spoiled mari more. He was full, and warm, and just...pretty content. It was nice to have a day where he didn't have to work or go do anything much.

Mari smiled gently at his chuckle, and while she did feel super bad that she hadn't gotten him anything much, she also liked the fact that he genuinely seemed quite at ease with everything. He seemed happy, which wasn't normal at all. Well, he always seemed alright, but he had a goofy grin on his face which she only got to see every now and then. It was just nice, she supposed. Nice to have him around like this, where they could just be relaxed and content. When he floooed down onto the couch, she smiled gently and wandered over to peck his head softly. "Want anything?" She asked gently as she wandered back through to the kitchen to get some water and a few other things.

Sage hummed lightly in response to her comment when she went past him, shaking his head slightly. "I'm ok," he chirped. "You've stuffed me full of yummy food and I've gotten plenty of kisses," he added with a slight laugh. He tilted his head back to watch her as she got whatever she wanted, sort of opening his arms to cuddle when she wandered back into the room. "what time are you wanting to start getting to bed," he asked. He'd promised her another bath, and he was admittedly still hoping for some sort of activity in bed, preferably before the bath. But if she wasn't in the mood, he was certainly happy enough already.

Mari sort of shook her head at his comments, slowly slipping into his arms after a little while. "You always get loads of kisses," she chirped to him. She'd given him more than usual, sure, but she supposed she was a bit like that when she got excited. Just more affectionate. And, she couldn't really find a way to express how happy she was about everything. She wrapped her arms around him happily and rested her head on his chest after a moment or two. "Hmm... soon," she mused. They'd had a good day, but they'd been up late the night before, so she was sort of tired.
