(Oohh yeah!) Mari gave a soft smile to him before hugging him a little bit tighter and moving to wrap the duvet around him more so he could hide. "You don't have to get up, don't worry," she murmured softly to him, pecking the top of his head softly with a bit of a chuckle. "You can stay as long as you'd like," she hummed gently. She sort of thought herself lucky that he still wanted to be near her at all. It wa scary, what had happened to him, so no wonder her didn't want to be as close to her... but he was now. And she was certainly very grateful.

(Okie dokie! It's obviously a ways of but I'll forget if I don't pop it in now xD) Sage grunted in response to her comment, just letting out a pleased huff of air when she curled up tighter. "Good," he noted in the same sorry if grumbly voice, but that was just because he was tired and just didn't want to do anything. He was more than happy it to just lay there with her for a while. After a while though, he was awake enough to sleep of whisper "how long were you planning on staying here," side he hadn't been paying much attention to... Anything the last few days, so he had no idea how long they'd be here.

Mari sort of shrugged to him and gave a small sigh. "I don't know," she murmured softly. "As long as you need. I just wanted to get you some help is all," she murmured softly to him before gently patting his back now that he was starting to get heavy on her. She smiled softly to him before rolling onto her side a little once he'd moved. "Maybe we need to get away for a little bit. Just the two of us so you have a bit of time to relax," she murmured softly.

Sage hummed and nodded in response to her first comment, sort of moving to rest his chin lightly on her chest, so he could look up at her. He'd shifted over too, so he wasn't crushing her. "I feel better now," he promised. "Sleeping helped," he added with a slight chuckle. Then he cocked his head slightly at her other comment and shrugged. "That's fine with me," he mused lightly. "We could always go back home and leave the kids with mom," he pointed out. He didn't really care, but staying home would be cheaper anyway.

The girl sort of offered a little smile before furroweinf her brows. "Sleeping helps everything. I'm just a bit worried about you," she hummed to him gently. "But if you'd feel better going home that's more than fine," she hummed softly to him. She didn't particularly like being here anyway. She hummed in thought before giving a small nod. "We don't even have to do anything like that. If you just want to grab the kids and get home that's fine," she added softly. She did think having a bit of time to themselves would be good... but she didn't mind too much.

Sage hummed lightly and nodded in response to her comment. He sort of reached up to peck her lips lightly. "I'll be alright. I guess the worse has already passed," he mused. He nodded in response to her next comment and shrugged. Ï figured that would be cheaper. I don't mind going out to dinner or anything though, as long as you stay with me," he added. He wasn't wanting to be anywhere by himself, was all...and he doubted she'd want to leave him alone now if at all possible anyway. "No...I feel bad about not paying much attention to you now," he chuckled. "A few days just the two of us would be lovely." It would be too....he always enjoyed times like that.

Mari just sort of shrugged to him. "I really don't mind. Just thought it would be good to get to grips again without the kids for a bit," she mused softly. She adored her children, but she also wanted her husband to go back to normal... which may not happen to fast with the kids asking questions. She just gave a little smile. "It's whatever you want," she added softly. "And I'm not going anywhere," she told him gently. Her brows pinched together at his last comment, though. "No. No, god no, don't feel bad at all," she told him hurriedly before pressing a few light kisses to him lips. "Don't worry about that one bit," she added softly.

Sage nodded before sighing after a deep breath. "it's probably a good idea," he mused. He loved the kids, obviously, however some quiet to just regroup now that everything was out there would be helpful he thought. He hummed lightly at her next comments and nodded happily. "that sounds lovely to me," he hummed, smiling softly at her when she pecked him, already fretting over him more. "I'm trying," he chuckled. "Itll come with time, according to dad," he said softly. "Hopefully this will speed it all up."

Mari gave a small smile to him... hopefully it was a good idea, anyway. She smiled lightly at his next comment, though. "We can go out and get some nice food before we get back home, if you'd like... before it gets to late?" She hummed softly. She really just wanted him to feel okay. If having a bit of time to himself made him feel better, then they could do that. "We can have a warm night in. I'll put our pjs on the heater so they're warm out the shower and make some hot chocolate or something and we can just relax, yeah?" She hummed gently. She sort of smiled at him carefully. "Hopefully," she agreed.

Sage felt a smile drift onto his face in response to her comment, giving her a happy nod. "I think that sounds lovely," he chirped. Dinner did sound nice,..it had been ages since they'd gone on a date like that. So it was definitely nice to do again. "Good, because the old man keeps it freezing in here,"he giggled slightly, moving to peck her lips again. "But make that shower a nice warm bath," he mused. "I could stand to relax like that, I think," he added in a slightly mischevious tone. He really was alright physically...maybe a bit sore, but he'd live. He was exaggerating a bit. But he did enjoy a nice warm bath here and there, especially if Mari was there with him.
