Mari sort of read the next half of another page before putting the book down and going to wrap her arms around him lightly. "You feeling okay," she asked him softly before moving to press a few light kisses to his lips. She sort of smiled before going to settle down again. He was warm... comfortable... and she just felt Safe with him. She always had, she supposed... but she was just glad that after all of this they could still be comfortable together.

Sage sort of just sat there for a bit until she put the book away, humming happily when she kissed him and nodding in response to her comment. "Yeah," he hummed quietly, wrapping himself around and into her happily as she moved to cuddle up. He was just glad to have someone like her....and he was glad they'd sort of figured out how to handle an argument. It was pretty important, he figured. And it was bound to happen at some point ....but he supposed for now he'd just stop thinking about it and just be happy to spend some time alone with his wife.

Mari smiled softly at his comment, and sort of moved to bury her nose into her neck. "Yeah," she repeated gently before sort of moving to slip her arms around his waist and flopping over and onto him playfully. There wasn't really any harm in it, she didn't think... it was just nice to mess around a bit and relax, especially after the fairly busy few weeks they'd had. It was also a bit of a scary few weeks... they were both just not quite right... and it was a bit scary, if she was honest.

Sage couldn't help but let out a kind of giggle when she flopped over into his lap. He shifted slightly so he could lean over and press a lingering kiss to her lips before flopping back onto the couch himself with a sort of content huff of air, absentmindedly fiddling with her hair as he watched her happily. "I missed you, you know," he hummed quietly after a moment or so, still just...a.watching her. Watching the way her eyes followed him and her lips curved up in a smile.... everything about her was just perfect. And he really did love the girl. He still wasn't sure why she'd picked him, but he loved it all the same.

Mari smiled softly to him after a moment before shaking her head, kissing him back more than happily. "I've missed you too baby," she mused softly, sort of moving to rest her head on his lap, and kind of going to curl into him happily. "I've missed evething," she murmured quietly... it seemed strange, she supposed... how she could love someone so much, live in the same house and yet... still manage to miss him. She sighed and sort of went to kiss to lips again, lingering for a moment before flopping down on his lap once more.

Sage hummed and nodded in response to her comment, a goofy grin taking over his face when she kissed him again. He went back to just playing with her hair, since he was sprawled out on the couch lounging with the girl flopped on top of him. He let his head fall back onto the armrest after a moment, a slight sigh coming from his nose. "Me too," he hummed. Then he grinned down at her again. "Which is why you now have to make up a couple weeks worth of love," he chuckled, pecking her head lightly. He was really just joking around....she didn't have to do anything for him, of course, but it was just nice to be with her. He had missed it, more than anything, and he did want plenty of love for a while.

Mari smiled to him softly before giving a small chuckle, closing her eyes a little bit before sighing when she felt his hands running though his hair gently. "Baby you're so handsome," she mused lightly as she stared up at him... he really was, too... she didn't know how else to put it. She just watched him for a moment before eventually sighing and moving to wrap her arms softly around his side. "I'll make it up to you whenever you'd like," she mused lightly to him.

Sage was more than happy to just sit there, though when she spoke up he looked over at her with a chuckle. "You're biased," he noted with amusement. "But I'll take the compliment," he mused, pecking her forehead happily. Though, at her other comment, he arched an eyebrow and gave her a rather mischievous looking grin. "Well, based off of your reaction earlier you already have some ideas about that," he teased her lightly. He didn't mind one way or the other what wound up happening....he just liked that they had the freedom to do whatever they wanted. That they were ok to joke around again. It was just nice. But of course, some love like that wouldn't be bad either.

Mari smiled to him before shaking her head at him. "I am a little bit," she teased him softly, but moved to peck his nose again. "But I do think you are gorgeous," she hummed, softly moving to peck his face every time she moved. After a little bit, though she moved to sit up and sort of sat on his lap, one leg on each side of his thighs, and just sort of melted around him. "I supposed I had a few," she murmured to him playfully before sighing and sort of moving to press a longer kiss to his lips. "But all you said is that you wanted attention... so I'm giving it to you.

Sage chuckled lightly and hummed happily when she pecked his nose, giving her a grin in response to her comment about him. A light blush still tinted his face whenever she said something like that....he still wasn't sure what she saw in him, but it was still nice to hear her say it. He was starting to almost believe it by now. He snorted in amusement when she mentioned having a few ideas and patted her thighs gently when she shifted to sit on his lap. He kissed her back with a light hum and chuckled before wrapping his arms around her again. "And I will most definitely enjoy any attention you give me," he chirped lightly, more than happy to just mess around for a bit.
