Kai walked with her back to his room. "Hey, it's not my fault my deranged friend shot me out of the sky," he teased.

Camery couldn't help her slight chuckle at his teased, but rolled her eyes after a moment. "You poor boy," she mused as they entered the room. "You're right. It's all my fault," she joked to him, pecking his knuckles as she let his hands go. She did feel a little like it was her fault, though... she'd been the reason he ran off in the first place, and Orianna shot him down because she was jealous. The whole situation just seemed crazy to her. She flopped down on the bed after a moment, sort of star fishing out across the bed, her arms and let's spread out as she stretched before sitting up again. "She was mean too," she huffed with a wrinkled nose.

"Hey, it's not your fault either," he said with a gentle smile, taking her hand. He sat down on his bed, chuckling as she star fished out. "Yeah, she was," he agreed. She was a bit rude at times, but she was all he had for a long time.

Camery smiled softly, and squeezed his hand softly as she sat up, crossing her legs back over. It wasn't her fault really, but she still hated that she was a part of the reason he ran off like that. All she wanted to do was make him feel better at the time, and she'd somehow managed to blow that up. "I know," she whispered to him, offering a gentle smile. She then pouted softly. "Mean, but she clearly has a good shot on her," she chuckled lightly, gently running her finger over the scar that was already fading on his wing.

Malakai Negri - Kai chuckled, "Yeah, she does," he agreed. Although his entire body shuddered as she ran her finger over his wing.

Camery Valatieri - Cam looked up at him with a bit of a smile when she felt him shudder next to her, her smile slowly turning into a grin as she pulled her hands back. She let her gaze wash over him, still unable to get over... well, him she supposed. She couldn't believe that so many people had tried to hurt him. His own father, one of his oldest friends... and they'd done a good job of it too. They'd hurt him, and she desperately hoped she could make him trust her enough to believe that she wouldn't hurt him like that, not if she could help it. "We can't be too mad at her, I suppose..." she trailed off after a moment and flashed a gentle smile. "After all, we probably wouldn't be together right now if it hadn't happened," she murmured softly. She hated the woman, and she'd gut her if she got the chance, but at least she got Kai in the end.

Malakai Negri - Malakai took a moment of breathing to calm himself down after she removed her hand from his wings. He glanced over at her, "True. Can't be mad about that," he grinned.

Camery Valatieri - Cam felt a little grin cross her face when he moved her hand, although it went right back on his wing after a few seconds. She leaned in to peck his lips a bit of a smile across her face. Yeah, she was just bored. Maybe looking to pick a fight and mess around a little, who knows. When he grinned at her, she couldn't help the excited little hum that escaped her. He really was just stunning. She was glad he was here. She was glad she'd been allowed to stay, that he hadn't just pushed her away more and more. Especially when Orianna was here - Camery had full intent to be awful to the woman next time they met. "Malakai?" She asked curiously. "At that ball - Ori spoke to me awfully," she murmured after a moment. Her brows pinched together. "Why didn't you say anything?" She asked in a curious way, clearly interested if nothing else.

Kai looked down at his hands, guiltily as she mentioned the way Ori spoke to her. He frowned, hesitating. "I'm sorry, I know I should've said something," he apologized. "Ori has always been a 'my way, or the highway,' kinda person. I was afraid that if I said something, she would've gotten angry and ended our friendship..." he sighed. "I was drunk, but that's not excuse. I should've said something,"

Camery nodded softly to him, and slipped a finger under his chin to peck his lips. She was curious was all. She didn't want him stressing out about something that had already happened, especially if they weren't even together at that point. What had caught her off guard most was the fact that they had been talking and he let himself be dragged off by her. That may have been the reason she kissed him to be honest... she wasn't a big jealous person, but for some reason when she watched him get dragged off by her she had felt her heart drop. Then, in that moment, she had been incredibly jealous. She shook her head slightly and gave a small laugh to him. "It's fine. I didn't clock that she was taking the piss out of me until after it had happened, or I would have said something myself," she mused lightly.
