The woman gave a small chuckle at his little before sort of going to get a little bit of house work done. She just tidied things up a little, neatening the cushions in the living room and putting some of Silas's toys away. She heard Liz calling for her, and gave her some paper and pencils to draw with once she'd finished her book. She soon wandered back to Sage, his little comment making her chuckle softly. "I take it you're feeling a bit better today," she mused lightly, pecking his cheek gently. "Come sit down in the living room... I want to sort your hair," she mused lightly to him.

Sage had hummed lightly in response to her comment once she got back, nodding lightly with a shrug in response to her comment. "I suppose so," he chirped. Then, when she mentioned sorting his hair out, he nodded. His hair was sort of uncomfortable by then. So, he allowed her to settle him on the couch and work on his hair. It felt nice anyway, he could admit that.

The woman gave a small laugh, though helped him to the couch and had him rest in between her legs so he could sort of lean back on her if he needed. She gave a small hum as she grabbed the brush, gently starting to untangle his hair. Soon enough, though, she could get the brush though it easily and moved to put it back up in what had become a very signature bun for him. "There you go," she hummed softly to him, pecking his neck gently before sort of patting his chest. "Ready to go out?" She asked him lightly.

Sage had nestled in how Mari had said to settle in for a while. It admittedly took a while for her to detangle his hair, as it hadn't been combed in....a while. He found it rather hard to sit still though, since he was just excited to get outside. It had been over a week since he'd been home and so far he'd only sat in bed. So, when she asked if he was ready to go, he nodded happily and moved to let her help in outside, plopping onto his blanket happily once he got there.

The woman gave him a happy little grin before sort of moving to help him up, out the house and to the tree he wanted to sit under. She put a bottle of water next to him and got some snacks and supplies out for him before sort of looking over at the boy. "If you need anything, just shout, hm? Anthony is around too, so if you need him he should be able to help you," she murmured softly to him, pecking the top of his head before padding back inside. She had to admit, it was a little boring now... she didn't know what to do with herself. The kids were already pretty independent. Silas would always be outside on the yard messing around, and Liz was normally inside reading he books or drawing something. She sort of smiled at that thought. Their children were definitely the best parts of the both of them. Though, she still wasn't sure what to do with herself for the time being.

Sage had nodded in response to her comment, a wide grin lingering on his face....he was just really happy to be outside. He tugged Mari in for a quick kiss before she moved to go back inside, more than content to paint for a little while. Eventually though, he'd finished the painting but for a few small details he still had to figure out how to get on there. So, he set it aside and peered around for a moment before huffing out a breath and deciding he wanted to go say hi to chaos. He peered around for Anthony, and when he found the other man, he beckoned him over, letting him bring him to the paddock and settling him down by the stallion.

The woman sort of just shuffled around for a while, not at all sure what to do with herself... things were so quiet now. She started to bake a cake for after dinner, but soon that was done and she didn't know what else to get done. A walk couldn't hurt, though. She gave a small huff of air after a moment, sort of grabbing her coat and wandering around the village. She needed to get some snacks... but honestly, she didn't want to waste any money. She did pick up some vegetables for dinner, but other than that she really was just wandering around aimlessly.

Anthony had helped sage wander over to chaos's paddock, where he settled under the big oak tree he always went to, thanking the older boy before focusing on the horse that's was wandering over to him, ears pricked. He moved to stroke the stallions face when he snuffled at him, grinning widely by then, murmuring a greeting to the horse, who soon enough went to lay down next to him, still grazing as he lay there. Sage just leaned against his stomach, resting on chaos's warm body with a relaxed huff of air, closing his eyes and eventually drifting off happily for a while.

The woman sort of just wandered around for a while... a long while, acrually, really just zoned out. She wandered all over the village, really just lucky not to have gotten lost and caught, or... something. She sort of just stood still when she realised how far away she way, and that it was getting dark now too, so it'd be pitch black by the time she got back... and she needed to help Sage out. She huffed an annoyed breath before starting to wander back, her pace a little quicker until she got back to the house.

Sage had laid around with chaos for a while, staying out in the paddock until the sun was low enough he figured it would be dark by the time he even got back to the house. Anthony had left by then, so he let out a huff and clambered onto chaos, wincing slightly as he thought of what he was about to do as he unlatched the gate and urged the horse over and down to the house. "You'd better be good," he murmured to the horse as he moved inside the house, having chaos lay down next to the couch so he could get onto it easily, huffing slightly when he thought of how Mari would react to chaos in their living room. However, no way would he have been able to get back by himself so.....oh wellsie.
