Appearance: Jazen is a a muscular paint stallion with a brown coat. His coat is covered with a white snow cap, giving him more of an appaloosa look. His mane is black and only covers his neck. His legs are thick and strong with every step he takes.

Personality: Jazen is a strong horse that spends his day working. He has a big brain and puts too much effort into things which makes him angry easily. He isn't the most nice-looking for a prince, but his personality makes him more noticeable.

Phoenix isn't exactly what you would call a striking horse. She is a bright chestnut with a blaze with a spot coming up from her stomach to her side, a coronet on the back left, and half pastern on her back right. Her mane is a lighter color than her coat, but not exactly what you would call flaxen. Her tail is a deeper brown. Her eyes are an ocean blue color, with flecks of green. Her mane is fairly long, but is normally kept up in a running braid. Her tail comes down to her pastern and is usually kept up in a braid as well. She stands at 15 hh, shorter than most other horses. She is mostly a mutt of a horse, being AQH, APH, and mustang. She has a strong but stocky build from the AQH and APH while having a shorter back and thick mane and tail from the mustang. She has strong legs and hindquarters from all three.

Personality:

Phoenix has a hard personality. She normally walks alone and never really speaks. She fights to keep her image: a rouge, an outlaw. She is fierce and brave. She is a total badass when it comes to anything with logic and quick wits. She still has dreams but has pushed them to the back of her mind. She has chosen to not show her true emotions, only showing naivety. She shoves her strongest feeling deep, but everything is building, she can feel it. The anger, fear, and envy. She knows one day she'll explode, and she pities the ones who will be caught in the crossfires. She is very kind to those of her kind, but mostly the elders and young ones who ask for advice or help. She can be seen most days laughing and playing with foals. Her biggest income is babysitting for other mares. She is gentle with them, her eyes calm and welcoming. But when she isn't seen doing this, she is usually seen arguing or fighting other mares over taunting, or fulfilling the dares of horses she knows. She is not friends with really anyone, her trust being very hard to earn. But she did have a friend once. She was a mare slightly older than her. She passed a year ago from the same illness her father had. They had been very close, and this horse knew her better side. She had a big heart and an open mind, a voice so soft, it was like a breeze on a sunny day. They shared everything. They were closer than she and her brother had been. She missed her, but she didn't show her grieving, pushing it down with everything else. But she finds that she often cries herself to sleep at night. Maybe she should try opening up to others...

Backstory *easier to organize for me hope that's okay :)*

Phoenix used to be a kind and soft filly, loving the world and everything in it. But when her sire fell ill and passed when she was a yearling, everything changed. He had the main income for them, and they soon became poor and lost their home. She and her brother went to the castle/palace (whatever it is called in this rp) and tried out to be knights. Her brother was accepted, she was not. This confused her. She was always told by her brother that she was stronger, smarter. Why had they not accepted her? Then she realized that at this time, there were no female knights. This pissed her off. Ever since, she has despised her brother, as he now looked down upon her. He refused to give the family any support, so her mother was prosecuted for being caught stealing food. The young filly was now on her own. She could have gone to be accepted as a knight, as there were many females in the position, but she now refused to serve the monarchy now. She decided she didn't need help from anyone and lived on her own. She often dreamed of leaving the grounds, going outside the kingdom, it seemed so peaceful out there. Something was holding her back. Most likely the memories of her family's life here. She met up with her brother very few times right after he was accepted to the position upon his request, but then she stopped seeing him. She worked hard for the things she needed and did it on her own.
