Mostly cut off from any other relatives, her parents and little brother were Lykalo's whole world. During her childhood, the family moved to a new area every several years, and Lykalo never got to keep many of her friends. Though money was never a problem, they weren't especially rich, and she could only dream of spending time with horses. It was only when she turned sixteen, and could begin to pay for her own horse rides, that Lykalo began riding every weekend. Buying a horse was out of the question.
