@Granny, I already told them I was overwhelmed working in memory care so much and they said they werent going to change anything and I had to deal with it.
As a one time manager, I can safely say, that if a new employee came to me, making 'demands' they wouldn't be working for me very much longer. On the other hand, if they came to me, saying they were over worked, due to doing other peoples jobs and was getting physically/mentally stressed, and didn't know how much more they could continue, I would call an employee meeting, and let it be known, that shit was going to stop or those 'slackers' would be looking for new jobs.
Hawk where i was working there wasnt really much heavy lifting we did alot of welding my coworkers were just kinda grumpy. If it was my choice id be working with dad, best job
If you are the neewbie, the other workers might be trying to see how far you will go before you have had enough of doing the grunt work/jobs. Maybe politely say something to them.
