“Holiday In The Spotlight 173” Contest!

Each month we have this contest to highlight a group of horses &/or foals the theme is determined by either the Club or the previous months' winners.

It's Our Holiday In The Spotlight!

No matter what you celebrate! Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, Yule, Boxing Day, New Years Eve, Winter Soltice, etc.

Show us your horse in Holiday Splendor!

This Month we have a surprise, there will be a Fourth Place awarded !

Eb prizes were also increased for this contest!

Rules: All entries must be in by the 15th of December Noon HEE time and then a voting page will be set up to choose the winner. This month the winners will be chosen after voting ends on December 22th (noon). Any ties will be broken by Random Generator. Prizes will be sent before Roll Over to year 174. (Hoping to be able to distribute tack before Dec. 25th )

1. Your Horse, Pony or Foal must be living and owned by you upon entry into the contest. Any horses will be photographed & saved upon entry if they are 18 or older. Entries must be owned by you during the entire time of the contest.

2. Each horse must have these items:

A. Background of your choice.

B. 2 pieces of tack that match your theme

C. 2 pieces of décor that match your theme

(anyone short on tack or décor message PK Rescue 332973 or Ynys Hafod 272515 we would be happy to try to help out)

Runaway Reindeer! Erinyes, our resident reindeer, doesn't enjoy the holiday festivities much but she does look quite cute as one of Santa's reindeer! As a kid I used to find the stories of the reindeer fascinating, and it always made me curious why society landed on that as a symbol instead of something else a little more common or with greater historical significance, especially when so many other places celebrate horses and other cool things during holiday seasons (*cough* Quiz *cough*)
