I always make a test cookie to make sure my oven isn't being weird, plus sometimes I add cornstarch for thicker cookies and have to double check the baking time, and it's my favorite because I always eat the test cookie to "make sure it's good"

I'd be cautious of making cookies with nut derivatives, just in case there are people with allergies. Unless you know everyone, then I personally would go with cherry almond
