Year 204 summary

It was the year of the WWE combo filly over here! Here are the highlights:

2 WWW colts; Ashcroft Symphony and Ashcroft Centurion. Both by my own stallions.

6 WWE combo fillies, including some real shinies I’m excited about. Introducing:

Ashcroft Alyssa - one step closer to producing a WWW dun. Really pleased with her.

Ashcroft Taliah - a Tesoro granddaughter with the genetics to produce apricot.

Ashcroft Silverfae - she caught all the shine from her parents - splash, creme, tobiano, silver and pearl.

Also finally had a win with my wild bay project with the beautiful Ashcroft Goldenfae.

I’m also unexpectedly pleased with her sire, Ashcroft Silfren. His genetics are EE, so he can’t produce a chestnut. This has proved very useful for wild bays, and he’s been a great improver on my (very mixed bag of) wild bay mares this year.

Overall a decent year. I’m stoked that some of my keepers have my lines on both sides of their pedigree.

Still trying to get a nice daughter out of Ashcroft Eos, so fingers crossed for next month. She debuted quite high on the ABLB and I didn’t think it would be such a struggle.
