This is random, but my horse has a black strip on her back and a tiny patch by it. Is this normal or rare in her color description?

It's just her pattern. In the future, please stay on topic (this has nothing to do with chimeras).

I am new to this and have no idea about chimeras color variety so i was just making sure she wasn't a chimera before I sold her. Thanks for the answer! Edited at July 5, 2018 12:53 AM by Grace Stables

Sniper Ridge Stables said: Nope still think itÂ’s frame.
Frame does not contain a face pattern like the foal has. The neck and white markings on his belly are also not frame related. Edited at July 5, 2018 03:08 AM by CloverHoof Acres

No, this frame pattern is normal. It's just cut off by the black chimera :)
Here's this horse's frame marking when it's not cut off by chimera: https://horseeden.com/genpic.php?id=16445989&bg=6&decor=Y
Here's the pattern of chimera on the horse in question: https://horseeden.com/genpic.php?id=16586895&decor=Y
Notice that the areas that are normally white from the frame and the areas that are black on the chimera example above overlap: https://horseeden.com/genpic.php?id=16626897&decor=Y Edited at July 5, 2018 04:19 AM by Thunder River
