And Wolf, please do tell your teachers. If it's still the same as when I was teaching they HAVE to try and get you medical help.

Be safe Wolf and hopefully it isn't a concussion but if the symptoms persist tomorrow I would definitely go to the doctor

I could call your landline if you have one. That's one way to get your parents' attention.

I'll just tell my teachers and explain what happened, and that I think I may have a concussion but am unsure

I told my doctor at the time I was pretty sure I had a concussion because I had all the symptoms that I was trained to look for. She did the neuro exam as well as an x-ray on my neck because I've been hit in the back of the head / neck and it turned out I had a reverse of the cervical curve on top of the concussion.

Well I have to go the light from the computer is starting to hurt, I'm going to set my alarm clock, and hopefully it's just dehydration, but I'm not going to knock the concussion out of the way

The calling wouldn't be a bad idea however your eyes may still dilate normally even when concussed. A doctor will normally perform a neurological exam such as balance, focus and just general movement to determine if you have a concussion. CTS and MRIs won't show anything unfortunately

I appreciate that but I don't have a phone :( My parents won't let me have one even though I'm driving and a Junior in High School lol

That was my first and hopefully last concussion but I had issues with speech and reading for several months after I recovered. I was slurring or mispronouncing words during recovery and for a few months after that until I can get back to reading regularly

True, I think I'm going to try and get some sleep but set my alarm clock since it's extremely loud and I could hear it in my sisters room when it went off in the middle of the night with her one time, and I'll just set it for every hour >.>

I can't speak for Fawn, Wolf, but I am concerned enough to offer to call you every two hours tonight to wake you up, but without someone to check your eyes it may not be helpful. Fawn, thoughts?

It could be that but you did say that you got hit in the head yesterday and since you've had concussions in the past I wouldn't rule it out because you don't have to be hit hard or pass out to be concussed

I'm also not sure if it's a concussion though it could just be I didn't drink enough water when we were hauling tons of brush yesterday, and burning it, so it could be that as well

And unfortunately recovery time varies but the more concussions you suffer the longer it takes to heal.

Even alarm is still risky because you're relying on yourself. My doctor wouldn't release me until I had someone that could stay with me and wake me up every hour

When I suffered my concussion in 2021 it took five almost six weeks for me to be recovered enough to return to work. I was pretty much bedridden in the dark. No phone, TV, reading, bright light or driving to allow my brain the rest it needed to heal

So in the game we have SH and WB as two different breeds. But are there really a difference between the two?
I'm not a breeder myself. I did some riding as a child but there was hardly a question about a the breed. Most horses were just discribed as german warmblood. I know there are seveal german warmblood breeds like the Hanoverian, Wesphalian, Trakehner, Oldenburg, Holsteiner etc. All of them are used as sport horses too, so where's the difference?

I'm just kind of curious where the game draws the line between the two. I feel like neither Warmblood or Sport Horse is discribing a concrete breed...

If it's in the wrong forum I'm sorry. I'm not suggesting any changes on the game but was rather genuinely curious.

Are you asking about in RL or game-wise?

game-wise

RIDs or AAs for example are easy to understand, but aren't SH also warmbloods?

I'm not completely sure the reasonings, but I believe they intended WB to act as more of a specific breed, similarly to TB, AA, etc. I think this is reflected in the breeding, like for example with AA, to get AA foals you have to cross either AA x AA or AA x TB.
The SH acts more like an wide "type", similarly to ISH. Again reflected in the breeding, ISH x anything = ISH. SH x anything = SH (if tall enough, if too short becomes PON).
I hope this makes some sense. :)

Technically yes, as well as ISH/RID. And even TBs are allowed in WB breeding books.
But in game, they are different.

Warmbloods technically aren't really even a breed. Theyre a type of horse, with a bunch of different registries. There ARE some breeds included in the registries, but they are closed book. A majority of the erkend registries are open

ISH/SH are basically just mixed breeds in the game, so a bit different than RL. Just consider everything its own breed in game, and you'll get the hang of it in no time. :D
