Showing is my main source of income.

The way I do showing is pretty easy. I do not do any hand showing, I let the BM (barn manager) enter all horses. So as you may know, the BM can only manage 200 horses, so I always only have 200 geldings. I buy single Es, and whether that E is in Dressage, Cross Country or Jumping, I change their training to that specific discipline. Then I go to the barn manager (I didn't check to see if you had a premium, but you must be premium to access the BM) and change the days to Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and also change the the discpline for them to show in for that day.

It may sound a bit terrifying at first. But trust me, in the long run it gets so much easier and the income is really steady. I hope this helps, feel free to PM me (#239098) if you have any further questions :)

I have 1000 geldings I show weekly. 200 are on the BM but only 200 geldings is not going to bring in a very hefty profit. It's up to you how many you'd like but I always recommend several hundred at least. If you have any questions about how I show, please PM me at #222488

Personally I wouldn't recommend the barn manager out of two reasons. One she can only manage 200 horses which is next to nothing if showing is your only way of income. If you have a large show string and are entering most of your horses into shows by hand, 200 horses more or less don't make much of a difference. And two: she reduces your income. I checked for her to only enter competitive horses yet she kept entering PPP geldings that only had three weeks of training, meaning they were NOT competitive. She ended up reducing my income to a third of what I usually make. I tried her last august, so I don't know if that was fixed since then but if not: hands off!

I can also recommend the games especially the genetic practice game. You can make over 100k just by doing the genetic practice each day. If you have a large show string going, it won't make much difference but it's a good source of income when you're just getting started.

I can vouch for the barn manager too. I used to lose lots of money because I just couldn't get the hang of when the horses were ready to show. With the barn manager, I don't even have to think about it.
I also show not only geldings but my breeding mares and stallions to fill up the 200 count, as I don't have enough space for 200 geldings plus my breeding programs. I also have two rounds of showers, one round for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and another round for Thursday, Friday, Saturday. This keeps the money flowing throughout the whole week, not just the first 3 days. I haven't noticed money loss with this method for now compared to the first part of the week only showing.
In addition to the 200 horses that are shown, I also do art. Art is not for everyone, but if you can draw or make even simple images and learn how to credit, art is also a very good source of ebs.
I started to have money struggles only recently, seems like I'm outgrowing my incomes, but as a starter, this strategy held me up quite well.
