I use a massive combo of AD and SD. Although to be fair, I show my AD stock as if they are SD (ie. I dont enter D/XC/J every week, whatever they are green in they continue to show in) AD riders all the way though, that helps with costs. Geldings who are SD trained will get into the higher levels quicker therefore making bigger bucks. Then, when they SM in the discipline, they are ready for the next. **Side note: I used to keep lv 10 Dressage horses and move them to XC but their heart is so low that they will always refuse even when they are winning - so I FR dressage lv 10 horses. Lv 10 XC horses will make good jumpers, thennnn dressage. Lv 10 J horses will make good xc, thennn dressage Lv 10 will make a lovely FR ornament.

Alrighty, that makes sense, so things could be managed pretty well by training everyone in AD. But if I do have SD horses it is best to level them out in XC and jumping first before moving on to the dressage.

My best showers concerning their total profit are AD horses, but SD is easier to learn and quicker if you don't want to spend too much time entering horses each day.
