Does that reset the horse's Futurity score? I accidentally reassigned a Futurity horse.

As much as I know, the horse will stay entered into the Futurity.
Just Federations count the horse/rider combo once they are entered.

The score doesn't reset but it can't increase, if you enter the horse and new rider it will start a new score.

It doesnt affect the score at all since futurities are not linked to riders like federations are. I changed the riders on these two horses and they kept scoring normally, didnt affect them in any way.
