Hello! I was wondering whether anyone can explain how the Top Breeder LBs are calculated. I like having goals for this game and I want to evetually get onto the LB for appendix breeding (and maybe small stable?). . How competitive are they? Does "stats of living foals" purely apply to their ratings or does it also include winnings, foal production, etc? Because it says average stats, am I correct in assuming that quality matters over quantity or do you need 300+ horses to be competitive?

At this point? I'm not sure the breeder leaderboards really are competitive at all just simply based on the fact that they feel extremely random, lol. Getting on them feels just as much an accident as climbing them does. . Like genuinely, one of my accounts has a little over 100 of a breed bred by it actively in game. Most are WWE combos or higher, very few WEE or lower. And I can barely keep that thing even within the 50s range. Meanwhile, the top stable of that breed, seems to have the most random mash of stuff and very few actually on the LBs. But still retains spots #1 through #3 consistently throughout the months. . There are some stables on boards and don't even own yearlings of the breed. So I think it comes down to the "stats", but we've yet to find an explanation on what "stats" pertain to as far as I'm aware. . People have been asking for quite a while now for an explanation and even after we got one, a lot of us are still massively confused lol

To add, the breeder LBs are based solely on AD breeding. So despite having a super strong RID program overall, I'm not that high on the LBs because I have too many SDs which hurt my standing.

I would advise setting a goal of having a top LB horse of your chosen breed, rather than setting your sights on breeder LBs specifically because as others have said, it feels very random. I have 3 studs in the top 10 RID LB, breed WWW foals every month, have several well producing mares, and somehow sit in spots like 6 - 16 lol despite times in the past where I didn't have the amount of quality horses I do now, and I was #1. I have noticed my standing drop when I breed a bunch of 'for fun' matches to get show geldings, as opposed to months where I've only bred my best horses, so I'm sure foal ratings have at least something to do with it - but I suspect volume of foals of the breed matters too. I've also had times where I was highly ranked on the Eventing Breeder LB, which was confusing to me as I know there are other stables churning out stronger AD foals every month. Who knows 🤷
