Majority of the mod staff are english or atleast fluently speak it as a second language, it is easier for modding and controling situations that everything public is in english, youre allowed to speak whatever language you wish in your game mail
Sweet Valley

Yes well many people who speak in different languages say their language is the best lol. My Grandpa (Who is full french Canadian) when he was learning english was like, "French doesn't have all the words that look alike at the end but sound different like "Through, Cough, Though, etc etc." lol
Shivering Sea

Horse games are pretty much a niche, there are not many options by default.
But English is a very popular and should be a second language to a lot of people.

This is an English-speaking game developed and hosted by English-speaking people. There will be plenty of games in other languages for non-English speakers I'm sure. I wouldn't know since there's no point in looking for games in languages you don't speak
Sweet Valley
11:23:01 Anna/Jewel
Well I am not sure about the game translating. Perhaps they use the whatever-their-language-is- to -english thingy lol.

Lynx- I am 1/4 French Canadian but I can really only say "Hello" "My name is" and "Yes" in French lol. I used a translator for the stuff after "Hello"(The french hello) lol
Prismatic
11:22:43 Prism/Chrome/Rainy
Oh absolutely, I can totally see that.
Shivering Sea
11:22:03 Shiv may have luck..
Thing is, supporting other languages means also having staff that speaks their language to help them out, as well as having different communities. It's a massive project that could easily get out of hand.

Ah okay, thanks Min. I tried to find that in the rules but I must have overlooked it,

Should I quit my J X project? July 8, 2025 12:26 PM

So, I've been doing jumping Xs since I caught this guy. Unfortunately he's dead, and my Xs have gotten approximately nowhere. I have this stud, and he's okay, but I just feel like they're not progressing, and I'd like to spend more time on my D WBs and AD stock.
So I'm considering either getting rid of all my jumpers, or getting rid of my Xs since they're weak and just keeping the TBs and doing apricot tobis.
help x.x

Hi!

If you do decide to stay with them, I think your best bet would be to throw your mares to outside LB studs for a month or two just to re-strengthen your lines. I do SD RID (decently successfully) and KNN (less successfully) and even though I do have a few high LB boys, it's still better to mix in fresh blood every now and then so that my foals don't all have the same pedigrees and so that my mares can have a shot with different studs. This will give you a much better shot than throwing your mares to the same stud consistently just because you own him. In addition, SD stud fees are often decently cheap so you wouldn't be out too many ebs

thanks Gem! I think I'll do that this RO and next and see if they improve, I've gotten to a point where I've got wk3s at least, so maybe I should stick with them.
I probably just need to do a hard cull of everyone with no wk3 >.>

Yes definitely! I don't keep any boys who don't have a week 3 unless his parents were super strong. I also do culls if they're not all up week 4 and 7.

That's what I do on my SA with D horses, though I've managed to get onto the DABLB without using any public studs ^^
-
I culled a bunch of mares with poor breeding histories, impulse-bought a TB boy with good training who was #51 on the JTBLB... 5 of 7 foals were W, so I think I'll keep at it with my jumpers :D

that's very kind of you, Geek, thank you! If you're doing J Xs/TBs, I'd love to be breeding partners 🥰
