Just wondering if someone would be able to have a look through my stable and give me some advice on how it's coming along? Are there any horses you noticed I should have gotten rid of? Is there any adjustments I could make? What would you recommend my next investment be? Of course this task is timely, so any suggestions will be greatly appreciated and thought over.

Honestly, the first thing that I notice is that there are a lot of S's in your breeding barn. If you'e breeding for ratings, get rid of the S's, even SEE's. If you're breeding for ratings and colour, get rid of them. Shiny EPP mares are a dime a dozen. You shouldn't be keeping any S's unless you are breeding for single discipline and the rating you want is not the poor one.
EPP combo mares are super cheap on the market. Invest in some of those over the S combos. Even EEP combo mares aren't terribly expensive. You can pick up decent ones for less than 50k.
Don't keep horses that aren't going to do your breeding program any good. Invest in an EEE stallion, geld the EEP and lower stallions to show, and make sure that you're showing all of your horses, breeding stock included. Don't spend the ebs on a pony just because it's pretty and shiny, that does more harm than good.
Your ideal next investments would be more geldings, follows by better breeding stock. Edited at May 2, 2018 12:01 AM by Anglachel Acres

Wow, thanks so much for your advice! I am so grateful you took the time to have a look through for me. Will definitely get rid of the Ss in my breeding barn and keep a look out for better rated horses. Also will make sure I keep saving for more geldings and high rated breeding horses, instead of other less important things. Thanks again for those tips! Really appreciated.

First thong I wouls do is, like Ange said, get rid of all Ss. I dont keep any EPP combo mares if they dont constantly produce their rating or above.
And I see how you are investing in geldings. Thats the best thing! :D The more geldings the more money.
And I would invest in a good EEP+ brood and a matching ABLB straw. I personally found that more economical then purchasing a good my outright, but thats just what worked for me until I bred my own.

The less S's you have in you stable the better. I Never keep and S's in my stable and am now buying PEP+ mares. I latterly culled every horse from my stable (70 ish) cause all I had for good breeding stock was PPP mares. And my PEE boys were flops. So yeah, buy PEP+ mares, use LB straws, and dump anything blow PEP.

Thanks so much Lib and Triple Ruby Ranch for your advice, as well. As soon as I get another barn I will go through and turn all my S mares into show horses (or should I sell/FR?) and do a big sort through. I really appreciate everyone's advice so far!
