I don't find appies bland at all, besides, his parents only DID have appy patterns and nothing else, so where would other options even come from? They even did the best they could with producing homo appy while being both hetero

All I seem to get is Appaloosa patterns. They're always so... bland.

Transformer, would have been nice with a few more patterns, but at least he's homo appy

I feel that way about pearl as well. Always heartbroken when they skip it - especially in Ee or ee TBs

Lol indeed! To a degree I find many Smokey cremes and brown cremes to be able to tell if they're silver or not also, though not nearly as easily as Perlinos (:

Not all perlinos are silver though, which I found out recently too. I was breeding for a quest and driving myself crazy with this stallion. Then I gene tested him and found out he's not silver.

I love perlinos, simply for the fact that they are honest about their Silver-status haha

Chestnuts and every other red based horse, as well as double cremes (perlino, smokey creme, etc) whites and greys can hide silver

Hi!

I've been playing for a while and recently had a small boatload of PEE combo colts. I want to geld the bad ones and keep the best. I'm wanting to learn about tracking training so I can tell which are the highest. Does anyone know of any blogs or forums on here that can give examples of ideal training per week? And possibly examples of what would not be wanted? I'm definitely a little confused!

Thanks in advance!

Not my guide per se, but this is very helpful for ideal weekly training :)

Ok so some weeks you train the bars are going to go up.
If a horse goes up in a trait every 4 weeks, itÂ’s strong in that trait.
Every 5 weeks, average
Every 6 weeks, weak
Worse than every 6, poop.

Normally people track by putting the number of bars for each week.
Example:
3-111111
4-112122
5-222222
And so on.

This makes it easy to see strengths and weaknesses.
An example of good training for a horse training in all disciplines:
4-221211 (personally if a horse goes up 2+bars on week 4 I call it good)
5-222222 (you want all bars up by week 5 ideally.)
6-222222 (since all bars are up it will be a bit before they go up again)
7-222222 (still waiting)
8-332322 (see the same bars that went up on week 4 are up again)
9-333333 (week 9 is like week 5, you want all up ideally)
10-333333 (waiting again)
11-333333 (waiting)
12-443433 (like weeks 4 and 8)
13-444444 (like weeks 5 and 9)

Now occasionally if a horse is super strong in a trait, it may go up on a week 3,7, or 11 (three weeks after it last went up). This is uncommon in All discipline horses so if it happens, thatÂ’s great!

(I realized I started this big long thing and I have to go back to work now so IÂ’ll link some blogs here later :)
