I would love to have an answer from the mod who took down my post, but the game message I received did not specify which mod it was. :) Seems a little ridiculous to not allow the artists of HEE to talk about dA and share their pages, as most of us post our art there as well and it's a fantastic platform for organizing our galleries and generating publicity. We were just getting a good thread going too, just sharing our gallery links to support one another. dA isn't another game, how is this a problem?
It's just mildly stressful and frustrating to not have any clear rules broken, but still get in trouble for something. Are deviant art links not allowed, then?
It would also be nice if mods could leave threads open for discussion, and maybe if there could be some clearer guidelines about it for us members and them as well. :) Edited at February 1, 2019 01:58 AM by Rainy Stables

No need to call out mods in public, you know where you can find us :) It doesn't matter which mod you pm.
It wasn't me who took down the thread and I think there was a mistake made here. DA does not allow hotlinking images https://www.deviantartsupport.com/en/article/what-is-deviantarts-sharing-etiquette
However sharing your DA homepage is no problem.
It becomes a problem when it's full of HARPG advertising / taking HEE comissions for real money ect.
I will restore the thread :)
