I understand the only difference is the height. I mainly raise PON but I have a few SH. I am looking at a LB stallion to possibly breed to. After looking through the foals ratings and the bloodline of all foals. I have two horses that I believe will cross well with him. One is a PON but her rating is PEE. The other is a SH she has a EEE rating. Both only have one foal on the ground. foals from both mares rated at PEP. I am looking for a LB foal and would prefer a PON. Which mare would you breed? The PON which is a PEE or the SH which is an EEE? Both bred to the same stallion, Both delivered a PEP foal. Stallion was an EEE.

It would all depend on the height of them both if you prefer PON the smaller the better

There is always a risk to get a bigger/smaller foal as expected - and random factor can be nice or devastating on both options.
