I was just asking myself if Flaxen is genetic in this game and if yes, if it's dominant or recessive. I know that there is no test available (just like in real life).

Nope! The game randomly chooses between 4 varieties of chestnut, with flaxen chestnut being the most common and dark flaxen liver chestnut being the rarest.
