Ah yeah. She is about max for her species. Some get a bit bigger but they average around 4-5 feet.

Hello! Planning to start taking showing seriosly on this account and looking for some feedback!! I will be taking a break from Year 136 and Year 137 RO to save money and invest in geldings.
How many geldings should I have to support my anglo arabian AD program (I have a EWW AA mare so affording to breed her is hard currently)?
Geldings or Mares? I know that geldings are priced overpriced these days and I was wondering if I should buy mares instead :)

I show everything. I have a lot less than some people but just start with what you have and grow until you feel comfortable.

I'd suggest to fill up your current riders' capacity (so that every rider has 5+ horses assigned to them) and show all of your horses, the breeding stock included. If the geldings of a specific level are too pricey (usually between the lvls 3-6), it's usually better to buy cheap SEE/PPP+ mares instead - they can also give you some nice SSS+ geldings every month. Just make sure you don't buy anything too old.

I have ca 150 geldings and 50 other horses and it's enough to earn me 100k in about a week. I know because I get broke every RO but am back at 100k in a week's time. xD

I show everthing I have. As I need to track training anyway, I might as well show my breeding stock too. Geldings are usually priced 1k per level, you could try to buy in bulk to perhaps get them cheaper. After RO people offer unwanted offspring for 750 ebs or less, that when I sometimes buy some untrained show horses as well. If you're using mares for showing and don't plan on breeding them, CS them, they train faster and don't act up on shows then. If your show string is still small, keep track of your show horses training and cull them regularly. I weed out anyone weak in hrt because they don't do well in SJ and XC. Even when I had a big show string I regularly went through my horses and culled the ones not earning enough money. I also like to have my show horses be strong in mv and spd too as those traits are key for the saturday shows.
The size of your showing army depends on your breeding program. I have a very small breeding stock (5 mares and no studs) so I'm doing fine with the 150-200 show horses I have. If you plan on going bigger and want to afford svens and ABLB matches, you need much more. At the best of times I had close to 2000 show horses to hit the 1500 shows threshold per week to make the most out of showing.
