Should I stick to showing 1 discipline or 2 or all 3? I'm only doing SD but like should I have 400 Dressage horses or many 200 D and 200 J? Or should i divide it pretty even?

Hello!
One of my show geldings is placing best in dressage shows, which is great! Where I am confused is regarding his training levels and rating. He is a PEE. He is premium in dressage, which is lower than elite? His highest training level is in speed (which isn't even needed to be high for dressage?) and his lowest training level is movment, which is needed for dressage, right? I'm so confused lol. I would appreciate any help. Here is a link to him!

Horses need a certain amount of training to do well in shows. Once they level up (e.g. your horse from Dressage Level 4 to Level 5) they first need to learn the new moves in order to be competitive again. Being PEE he'd need at least 4-5 weeks of training to be competitive in XC or SJ and 5-6 weeks for dressage.

Looking at your gelding I believe you showed him when he wasn't ready to. He was best in Dressage because he hadn't levelled at that point.
