solar - it was an EWE mare to a WWW but that's almost certainly it because she's *never* thrown P before. she has two EWE and two EEE prior to this

You can find such answers in the game help section ;)

Breed Approvals Horse approvals are a great way to learn your horse's abilities in a general sense. When you submit your horse for approval, the judges will evaluate your horse in three areas: Dressage talent, Jumping talent, and Cross Country talent. Your horse will receive a rating in each area. The ratings, from best to worst are as follows:

World Class

Elite

Premium

Superb

Average

Sub-Par

Stallions which receive a Premium rating in at least one area will be added to their breed Studbook.

Free Accounts may rate a horse on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Upgraded Accounts may rate unlimited horses per week.

As a newer stable, I would recommend to click through all the pages, read the explanations and a lot of things might be answered ;) It takes quite some time to find out all the features this game is offering!
