I'm going through my stallion barn and trying to decide on what boys should get snipped. I have three 7 year old boys I just picked up so they aren't on the gelding list yet since I want to see how well they train up and the foals they sire. However here's the link to my stud barn. https://horseeden.com/barn.php?id=455821 Here's a list of the boys I'm thinking of gelding. *Powder Keg Slaemur Draumur (He's iffy since he's been good to me) Sneezing Powder *Iccarus Demonic Shot *Dark Avenger *Red Circle Club *Lucky Days I'm looking at training mostly since these boys seem to have training all over the place, and only a few have sired EEE foals, but most foals are PPP, PPP+'s.

In general: If you start "thinking about gelding" - just go ahead and geld. You would know for sure if a stud is able to produce great foals. If you don't have the feeling that most of the foals are going to improve your stable, you can geld. Unless it is a top selling horse and would bring you more than 250k ... this is about the amount a decent show gelding can earn in his lifetime.

Hi, I'd geld all except maybe Red Circle. I'd also sell off your EWW, I'm afraid he is not performing. But your EEW looks better. There seem to be too many EEE boys and no real sense of what you trying to achieve with your breeding. I looked in your public brood barn, too many PPP mares. Send 50% to free range, sell 30% and keep 20%. Perhaps thats why the stallions are so under performing. Best of luck at roll over, with renewed sense of what you want to achieve. xx
