I've been trying to improve my showing methods recently. I've never had to think about it before, but I have a couple questions about leveling. 1. If a horse levels up while entered in a show, will they be automatically scratched? 2. If no, will they stay entered in their previous level, or will they be moved up to their new level? For example if I enter a level 2 horse and it levels up to 3 before shows run that night, will it stay in a level 2 show or will it move up to a level 3 show where it's very unlikely to make me money? Thank you for any help <3

Shows run at 12:15-12:20 am game time, and leveling happens at 3:30 am, so this isn't really an issue unless you enter your horses for the next day within that window. Not sure what would happen if you did and they did level though.

Hi all, Level up happens after the races every day (as Eyrie states). However if you enter the horse several days before the race (often true of member/club shows) and that horse levels up between being entered & before the race it will be scratched. Junior Riders competition is an exception as each rider+horse combo competes in d+xc+j once a week. You just have to remember not to change the rider on those horses if they level up. If you do then it gets scratched because you have changed the combo. P.s. Best to check your level up report every day. Only change the rider if they are lower than the new level. If your rider levels up they retain their horses. So you can have a level 2 rider filled up with level 1 horses. This is an advantage in showing and in rate of training. Yes, entering during that window is what my question was based on. I'm on late into the night in HEE time so I often re-enter shows shortly after they run (12:30-1am GT). If I enter my horess in that window and they level was my hypothetical because I do it and I didn't know what time leveling happened haha
