This forum is about how Color Breeders are normally buying or breeding out their horses to others. What are the two types of color breeding? The first one is for the color rating that is listed below the ratings of the horse/foal. The foals can range from 1/1000 to 1/1 that are the best to create. The second one is normally named the gene breeder and that's because they breed to get the right color by breeding with the right gene's of the horse. How do you know if the horse is good to breed? What I normally do I look through their pedigree to see their bloodline and to count the colors recorded in there. If they have up to 4 to 6 horses with good color rating under 1/10 then they might be able to create foals with a color rating of 1/100 to 1/10. If they have over 10+ horses with good color ratings then there is a possibility of them have many good 1/1 color rated foals in their lifetime. Mostly 1/1 rated bloodlines could easily create 1/1's in their offspring's. Which sex of horse is better to do color breeding with?I started out breeding colored stallion ranging from 1/5 to 1/1 color ratings. I can easily say that would be the best way to start doing color breeding and that's because you can 20 times over in one whole game year. A mare only can breed once and with a stallion you have 20 and the extra 30 straws to try to get a good color. Bloodlines of breeding color is also better in stallions because after breeding color for so long I have figured out that it's easier, because they can hold color in them stronger. Breeding Prices? They will always change around because there isn't actually any good breeding price out there but this is my idea of it. Just to explain that this is only for stallion prices below because mares are to hard to put a price to them. Over 1/50 is $0 to $2,000. Between 1/20 to 1/10 is $0 to $3,000 Under 1/10 is $0 to $3,000. 1/1 is $0 to $6,000. (Depends because if they have bred over 20 1/1's then they could easily go for more.) Buying Prices? Again, the prices are completely random because there isn't actually a limit to the pricing of the colored horses. 1/1's could easily go for anything from $0 to $5,000 but if they have bred many 1/1's then they could easily go for way more. But, if you are looking to start color breeding then it's easier to find a good stallion to breed too, then work from that before actually buying any. Example: I once had my old boy Meaning up here, so people could breeding and see him but he passed away back in December 2017. Instead I have one of his bloodlines with us. She is the Great Great Grand Daughter of Meaning himself. https://horseeden.com/horse.php?id=16191544

Well I did a test to check if i could get a 1/1 foal from him in one shot and I would say start with $500 for him because any higher and people won't breed him that might and for the club price maybe do it for 50% off because it's more welcoming to your club.
