Her ratings aren't very good, but she's a 1/1.

Just so over everyone knows, I have two 1:1 stallions up for breeding and a Chim stallion. The 1:1's are Ponies.

Newbie question: Since their ratings seem to be secondary, what do you do with these 1/1 horses? Are there leaderboards for rare colors, do you sell them or is it just for having and loving them?

Color breeding is not a good source of income, and there aren't any leaderboards for color, since, as Dark alluded to, there are many different ways to do color breeding. Instead, most breeders do it because they want a personal challenge without the prices and scarcity that come with ratings. It's just as fulfilling meeting color/pattern goals as it is breeding EEEs/W combos. Different goals may be having a certain # of 1/1s, having a certain # of colors/patterns in your horses, having a certain # of homozygous colors in them, trying to get a color that's difficult in a breed (ex. dun TBs), etc. Find something color wise that interests you, make a goal about it, and then meet it.

That's the best way I've heard someone explain what colour breeding is.
