The last player based FAQ I found was dated and the OP doesn't seem to play anymore so I've decided to start another quick guide to some of the most FAQ in chat. Some of these questions may be able to be answered by the game's FAQ but I hope to provide a simplified look so the information is easier to obtain by new players. There are many fantastic guides for showing/tracking training/palettes already available so I will not be including related questions in this guide. Please visit those threads to learn more! If you cannot find a guide for any of the topics mentioned above please PM me and I can send one along. If you know of any other frequently asked questions that I don't cover here, please PM me with your thoughts and ideas. I'm looking to keep this organized. If possible, please do not post in this thread so it stays tidy. Edited at September 21, 2021 08:56 PM by LostCause

What and when is roll over? Rollover (RO) is the start of the new game year on HEE. It occurs on the first of every real life month. The game is taken offline at 2:30AM gametime and if you are already logged in you are kicked off. The game will be placed back online at 2:35AM gametime. - Horses age 1 year - Mares are breedable again - Straw pull counts/LC counts restart - Yearly Points/Earnings/Regional/Team Point Leaderboards restart at 0 - Studs previously on leaderboards will need to have one LC foal to reappear I know I've got to be missing something. If you'd like to contribute please PM me! Edited at September 4, 2021 05:46 PM by LostCause

How do I grow hay? Hay can be grown during the Spring season in game. The current season is located on the status bar above the forecast. A pasture (purchased from Grow -> Upgrades and More in the navigation bar) must have no horses in it in order to be able to grow hay. The growing hay option is a checkbox located in the management box at the bottom of the page. - Hay takes 12 days to grow (harvestable on the 13th day) - Hay must be watered each day during the growing period. If there is forecasted rain (again located in the status bar) the hay fields will be watered - If there is no rain, the item Rain Dance Inviation can me used to incite rain. There needs to be 15 rain dances for it to rain. The option to use a rain dance and see how many have been used are located in the management box at the bottom of the page - the highest Crop Quality is 20 - You can only harvest bales or only rounds for each hay field, you cannot mix and match - If not harvested by the Winter season, it will be reverted to pasture and you will not be able to collect hay that year - Once hay is collected the pasture will be able to hold horses Pasture Size (# of Horses) | # of hay bales at 20 quality | # of round bales at 20 quality | 25 | 1,500 | 50 | 50 | 3,000 | 100 | 100 | 6,000 | 200 | Thanks to Circle Star RID for hay bale numbers for 25 and 50 horse pastures, and Sunstone for the round bale numbers for 25 and 50 horse pastures. How and when do horses die? If a horse is not sent to the free range by the owner, the horse will eventually die of old age and be sent to the Rainbow Bridge. - Once horses turn 19 they have a chance of dying each Monday. - You will receive a message alert notifying the the horse has died - The chances of dying increase the older they get - The horse will be immediately deleted from the game if they do not have any progency - If the horse has custom art, it will be removed once they cross to the Rainbow Bridge Edited at September 9, 2021 07:09 PM by LostCause

Can I crossbreed my horses? The simple answer to this is YES! All horses are able to be crossbred on HEE. The breeds you cross will determine what breed your foal will be. The following list is from the game's FAQ: - WB sire X WB dam = WB foal
- TB sire X TB dam = TB foal
- WB sire X TB dam = WB foal
- TB sire X WB dam = SH foal
- SH crossed with anything except ISH = SH foal
- SH crossed with ISH = ISH foal
- RID (sire or dam) x RID = RID
- RID (sire or dam) x anything = ISH
- ISH (sire or dam) x anything = ISH
- KNN sire X KNN dam = KNN foal IF a filly has LP or a colt has LP and PATN. If a foal doesn't meet these criteria, it will be a SH
- RID or ISH sire X KNN = ISH
- KNN sire X RID or ISH dam = ISH
- KNN sire X anything not KNN, ISH, or RID = SH
- Any sire not KNN, ISH, or RID X KNN = SH
- AA sire X AA dam = AA
- Any AA x TB = AA
- X sire with X dam = X
- Any X with TB = X
- PON x Anything = PON if the foal 14.2 hands or under
- PON x Anything = SH if the foal is over 14.2 hands
- Any cross that results in a SH normally will result in a PON if the foal is 14.2 hands or under

Do HEE players care about inbreeding/linebreeding? HEE allows inbreeding and linebreeding, but depending on who you talk to you may get different answers. As an overall whole, inbreeding and linebreeding is not frowned upon by the players in game. All of the horses at the top of breeding leaderboards have been inbred/linebred to some capacity. There are players that operate their stables as to not have any horses with inbred/linebred lineage which can be a fun personal challenge to play in game. How do I delete my account? Accounts cannot be manually deleted from the game by Eve or any of the mods. Accounts will automatically deleted after a certain number of inactive days. To start the deletion, do not log on to the selected account. - Free acounts that have never been upgraded will delete after 6 months of inactivity - Upgraded accounts/accounts that were once upgraded will be deleted after 2 years - The current in game guide has different timelines that are now obsolete Thank you All Breeds for confirming! Why can't I find a horse to put in my memorial field? Memorial fields are created by transforming an empty pasture from the management box at the bottom of the pasture page. Once a pasture is converted to a memorial field it cannot be converted back. Horses that are not deceased cannot be placed in a memorial field. - Horses that are free ranged cannot be placed in a memorial field - Horses that die that do not have any progency will be deleted from game too fast to add them to a memorial field, regardless if they went to the Rainbow Bridge - Horses can be removed and/or readded to your memorial field at a later time - If you remove a horse from your memorial field, it will not be deleted. You will be able to place it back in the memorial field if you wish. Edited at September 21, 2021 08:27 PM by LostCause

Help! I sent the wrong horse to the Free Range! You may end up accidentally sending the wrong horse to the free range. It happens. However there is a short window of time where you are able to get them back! - Only works for horses you have bred or captured - The horse can only be retrieved from the free range during the same game day - Retrieving a horse will cost $10k Click here to be brought to "Your Account" page. The option to retrive from free range is listed under "Stable Activity". Edited at September 4, 2021 06:00 PM by LostCause
