Not arguing on the learning, but you have to WANT to do it in the first place; I wanted a solid base for my new 12x16 shed. So I got rid of the old one, leveled ground, poured pea gravel and set 16x16 pavers down. By hand. By myself. With the apron and plant pit area, it comes to around 11,000 pounds of material moved. Most people nowadays would faint at that very idea.
