I have found that they will say you just need your account name but they will remove it if they believe you used a photo of something to create the Art even if the art does not look anything like the photo you drew inspiration from. So, if you use a photo to help you create your 3D art you should include that info on your image just to be safe. Endless Acres said: As I've not found my particular situation in the list, figured I'd better ask about it.
I use DazStudio to create 3d rendered art, thus each piece is quite literally owned by me, created solely on my computer. Would I simply use (c) my account number as the credit? (I'm assuming so, but want to be sure before I delve into creating an art shop).

Well, I'm safe there, since it's 3d rendering, no photos involved at all. Would still like a Mod to chime in on this though, as I certainly don't want to spend 4 hours rendering scenes just to have them nerfed.

For the few asking about 3d programs like Daz Studio, here is what I was told by the Admins:
Credit must go to the program, as well as the creator of all of the props, models, and texture creators for the items used in the image. You also need to provide Proof of Purchase for the models used.
This means: Clothing Clothing textures Models (Daz Horse, Hivewire Horse, Big Cat (Daz or HW), etc. must all be credited. Character Morphs (If installed preset character morphs were used) Mane and Tail packs (such as CWRWs psd pack) as well as any stock you use after rendering to improve your image, brushes, etc.
You should already have all of this information in the Read-Mes included with each piece of content and both DazStudio and Poser include several pieces of content with the program itself, making those quite easy to credit.
Hope this helps to clear it up for those using 3d rendering :) Edited at April 13, 2019 07:13 PM by Endless Acres

Just a secondary note, but for those using stock from dA, if the stock horse is one made with Poser or DazStudio and you want to properly credit (program, textures, etc.), I should be able to help with that. Just drop me a PM with a link to the stock image of the Poser or DazStudio horse and I will see what I can do about getting you the information for the model, textures, etc.

I used my own art to post a photo but I did use a reference how do we put the reference link on? Am I supposed to put it on each horses description? Or just type it onto the image itself before uploading?

Credits go on the image itself.

If its on DeviantArt or something else, just put their profile name and the website you got it from.

I want to know what is wrong with my horse "Baby Brent" s art. It has been taken down multiple times now and is getting very annoying. It is properly credited and the credits are visible. What is wrong with it?
if image doesn't work here's a link: file:///C:/Users/Taetae/Pictures/Saved%20Pictures/Untitled108-1.jpg Edited at June 7, 2019 09:52 PM by DearlySincere

You'll have to upload it somewhere. Trying to link to a file on your computer is not going to work.

Dearly Sincere,
Endless is right - we would need to see the picture from an upload site like postimg or lensdump.
Some things to consider (and this is just me throwing possibilities out before you post the visible image) -
-Make sure the images you are using are stock and usable for Sim games, some Deviantart accounts do not allow their stock on games like HEE. -Reverse image search with google and see if maybe the 'stock provider' isn't really the stock provider -I've missed credits/derped up some credits before and had an image taken down, it happens - just double/triple/quadruple check yourself you got them all. -Ask a mod politely if they can help you understand, they probably keep track of why and can work with you to tell you.
